On the look out for the most compact easy to put up day shelter.
One that gives me the ability to set up in tight areas
Currently looking at the drennan specialist what comes in 44 or 50'.

It does look good but It's surprisingly wide at 2.1m and 1kg heavier .

I have the fox specialist and it's good, but I now use the pentalite especially in winter as easier to put up in high winds, can have it high and I did a review in the section on here. I really rate this for days, super lite and can be pegged down and then just raise the storm poles, as they don't need to be pushed in.

I take it You do nights under it sitting on a chair not bed under the fox as I don't know of any bed that would fit or is there?
Me and a mate bought one each he sold his after using it twice and I couldn't get on with it where we fishing we couldn't get the pole in ground properly full of stones the wind came and blow mine away if it had sides that you could peg it like the korum brollys it might be better
The way it's designed it's like a sail only pegged at back I am interested to know what is so good about it as it has rave reviews everywhere

The river brolly does seem very light and compact but on flat ground would it not be pretty useless?

Korum graphite brolly. They now call all their stuff "progress" wft?
Light and compact, three rear ribs on the floor and pegging points.
You can add storm caps, you need the wide ones to fit the fibreglass arms, or drill out some old brass ones as I did.
Not big enough for a bedchair but ideal for a chair.

Just thought Because of the low back pegging, it would then make the brolly go to vertical if that makes sense.
The low weight/size would fit in my specialist holdall would make it option .

It's literally just for a day shelter for me and bucket seat . One that can be set up on uneven and flat ground .

I've got an Aqua atom sleep system. It's snug but that's fine by me. The more bulk I take fishing, the less I seem to enjoy it tbh. I only use it in the summer but as seen below I have also added storm pole adapters on the front ribs. I plan on making some sides for it in the future for a bit of fun.

Looks like you got it sorted any chance of putting up pic of bed under it
I was thinking of putting sides on it you can buy the material and pegging rings on eBay

How does a 50' brolly measure at that size 😂. Korum sizing is absolutely confusing .

210 cm is the width from each side wing pegging point.

I use a JRC X lite. Im 6ft 4 so a lank and sleep on side. Yeh ends touch sides but covers me fine. STS frame does not get in way. I Just remove the main pole you put up brolly with and use storm sticks.
I had some sides made for mine to just to give my gear more cover.

I got one of these a couple of years ago as I wanted something to block cold winds in the spring & it now comes with me on every trip. I bought a brolly last year as I wanted more cover but still prefer this over the brolly -
ali express beach shelter
pro's - very light, packs down very small, rolls up inside my unhooking mat, waterproof, takes me, rucksack, day chair etc. sewn in groundsheet, very quick drying, very cheap.
cons - not carpy, threaded poles so takes a couple of mins to put up, base isn't waterproof, after 3 years usage, some of the stitching has started to come apart.
considering the price, it has performed brilliantly as a day shelter & a couple of my friends have now bought them too.
