When you say tit. Are you referring to Jamie Clossick. If so I concur.

I think Jamie is alright to be honest. He was a pretty natural interviewer and managed to get a bit more out of the guests than some. I don't always agree with him, but at least he's not scared to voice an opinion and call out some of the bulls**t. He could do with going on about money a bit less though.

Unless someone can provide a link I won't be viewing it, I can't be arsed

To be fair I didn't mind the Carpcast, it was the original and it was quite good at the time, even unique!

Like most things though, it has now been milked to death and every man and his dog are knocking out pod casts now, suppose it depends if you want to listen to fishing podcasts, and which one. I am not too interested lately. Unless it was somebody I respected and they are now very few and far between

I haven't listened to one for a long time, I thought they jacked in a while ago!

The carp cast WAS good, I get the impression that the carp casts revival is a cover for the real reason and that's the cast competitions that's been released by them and mozza, I think they've seen the money being made by capital carp competitions and want a bit of that.
the revival and start up has happened a few times before and it usually coincides with one of Jamie's new business ventures, the last one being the carp fishing holidays to bled/Slovenia etc.

I listened to the nash podcast with Jamie on and he has had it pretty tough,losing all his business as a result of covid,suffering financially and with his mental health too to the point he was in a very dark place. this was recorded some months ago I think.

I seen to remember that Jamie Clossack is quite a good poker player, besides fishing and DJ'ing.

So what did Hamidi say about the Twig then? Let me guess, everyone has got it wrong, the Twig will revolutionise fishing, it's completely safe, the arms do snap, it's not a weed rake and everyone should have one.....am I close....?

I thought exactly the same. If the plan is to re-introduce The Carp Cast, as it, originally, was which was generally innovative and irreverent, then I look forward to it. If it's just a ruse in order to raise easy money, then it will die a death very quickly.

Whilst I appreciated it was free Jamie did pretty much use it a advertisement for everything he had his fingers in and when they stopped becoming regular they revived it just before his next business idea was going live or the NAS was on.

But regarding Ali I think he has lost the serious carp anglers and very much catering to the instant carp anglers just add water and a twig.

The original Carpcast was brilliant, I even subscribed and payed for the extra which was no where good as the free version.

Unfortnantly Jamie turned into an opinionated arse who had a massive bee in his bonnet and disagreed with everyone.
