Total fishing tackle have some on their new in page.They are not cheap but look well thought out,iceytek and yeti seem to get good reviews

As already suggested Iceytek and Yeti are probably top of the range. I would suggest Igloo are a relatively close 3rd and a fair bit cheaper. I use the Igloo for longer trips and the Ridgemonkey is ideal for overnighters or 48 hours trips. With those 2 I have all bases covered

Ive had an icy tec 25 and 40 litre and there great but even the 25 is huge. Now got a yeti roadie 24 and its a much better size and shape and just as good but way over priced for what it is. I dont think they do the nice fishing green colour in the yeti anymore either. Cant say carpy green as that word makes me cringe.

Army Norwegian field food container, you can pick them up pretty cheap, I've had both of mine 10 years plus, best bit of kit I've ever bought, fill the insert with water and put in freezer before your trip, there is a clasp on top and they are vacuum sealed, it will keep things cold for a week with the block of ice insert, I've got one I keep in the van when I'm fishing for keeping things cold, bait/ beers/ food and one I use for particles, these things are indescribable and literally built for a battlefield! Highly recommended

Icey-Tek 100%. I took the plunge last year on the 40L cool box and I took it on several 4-5 day sessions and it came back with ice in each time. Love mine. Doubles as a guest seat as its also bombproof solid.

I use yeti and they are spot on. I pre chill it overnight before I leave in the mornings. keeps food/drink cold for days.But like whats been said they are bulky so I tend to leave it in the car and just take out what I need when needed.
I don't really see the purpose of these high end cool boxes in small sizes for us UK anglers
In the larger sizes when doing long sessions 4+ days I get it.
Unless I intend leaving it out in the sun in 40c heat. But If I'm taking a cool box as small as that it's only fitting enough supplies in for a 1-3 night session. Most half decent standard cool boxes will keep that cool for as long as we need.
If you're taking it JUST to have ice cold drinks then fair play but I think they're unnecessary. For any other reasons.
That being said. If I'm going for longer sessions one of the bigger Icey tek/ yeti ones would be my choice

I agree,
I cant see what the difference is (apart from size) between these recommended and a cheap £10 cool box from Asda.
I normally put some water in the bottom of mine and chuck in the chest freezer for a few days

Iv just bought a second bigger cool box 70qt igloo max cold for a week session in France , I will top it up with ice whilst there . I wanted a big one to keep plenty of beer cold which is crucial on a French trip for me . Iv got mates with igloo max cold and I was impressed with the performance.
Iv got a smaller 27qt Coleman extreme which I would also recommend and I think similar performance to the igloo
The yetis and icey teck seem to be the market leaders but it's shown in the price
Both mine will keep ice for a good few days and keep my beer ice cold

Probably the same as the difference between a £20 argos carp rod and a century or harrison blank, Iceytex were designed in Australia to deal with their temps. If you take fresh food on the bank then they are brilliant. pot noodles dont need a coolbox.

How can you compare a cheap coolbox to a rod, im glad we dont have to fish with the same heat as Australia.
My £10 coolbox will keep meat and drinks cool for 48hrs with a couple of frozen waters.
For French trips i use to get the polystyrene boxes filled with ice to take my boilies.

Coleman 50 Qt Xtreme Wheeled Tricolor after 5 days still ice
The trick is to keep your cool box filled as much as possible, I fill the free space with towels
I had a Dometic Wcl33 that was 3 times as expensive after 1x 3 days of use and immediately sold it the coleman is better

I've got a Dometic Cool-Ice 13 that I use for 1-2 nights when the weather is warm, very well built and has a great seal, I've left this in my car in 30+ degrees all day and still had ice in it, it takes a 2 pint of milk standing up which is handy, I've got to admit I haven't tried packing it with ice etc to see how long it keeps for so can't comment on that.
One thing I do also use it for is resting meat after cooking on my smoker, it's the perfect size to put a couple of pulled pork's or lamb shoulders in!
In January I bought an Icey-Tek 25L in the Cool-Boxes UK sale, got it for £90.
