Wish i had kept mine. One in poor condition just sold for £475 with postage on ebay. I could of made a small fortune as mine was the first one he made with matt carbon with hi s blue whippings and a blue isotope in the block and i never used it. Im sure i sold it to someone on here a few years ago.

Still have mine, infact still have a couple of dymag nets I use. Maybe I'll keep them a little closer to the brolly at night rather than throwing them against a nearby bush.

Not this time it wasn't. It was One of my nets, also sold another for over £400 outside of ebay. Collectible items now, shame my other 2 are battered otherwise I'd of done the lot at the rate they were going! I'll just strip and rebuild them for myself instead 😂

Real result, I have paid good money for things in the past myself so nice to cash in for a change. Those 2 mobile ones never had any sentimental value either so they were easily parted with.

I rather like my Harrison 2 piece net handle.
Plenty of scope to have one custom made to suit your own personal requirements too.

Great stuff.
I was thinking of putting a brand new dymag 42” stalker net with the 3 feet extension but unsure how much folk may pay and secondly I'd be a bit wary of posting it as would prefer collection only really.
Any thoughts?.

Wow! I've got a standard net and a stalker net with extension piece and an extra set of arms and net. Retirement looms.

I wouldn't be too worried about postage. I build rods as a side business, can only recall one time I've ever had any get damage.
With the mobile nets, I just cut down a solid plastic rod tube to 4 foot, sealed each end and taped it, post office fully insured next day by 1pm a little under £12. Refunded the buyer the £8 excess as I want sure on postage fees. Royal Mail won't do anything 6ft do rods are a no go, but that's where ups step in and they are equally as good.
It's insured either way then, and with eBay / PayPal, only ever post to address that either PayPal or eBay give for the buyer. If you send elsewhere as some do request, even if it is tracked and signed for, if a complaint is made, you'll loose out. Learnt the hard way on that one once before, it's in the small print somehwere.

They never used to post rods but they do now. Royal mail will post rods via parcel force. One off price of £32. I sent some basia barbel rods from my local post office a few months ago and also sent a century spod rod with them 2 wks ago.

I've heard stories of where the buyer has kicked up a stink about inferior quality or want for a better word not matching it's description.

i once sold a set of steve neville f.o buzz bars, bearing in mind this stuff is 3/4 inch solid stainless, I sold them on ebay,sold them cheap and when the scum bag received them he put a claim in saying thermo were bent,never in a million years could you bend 5" 3/4" thick solid stainless steel....had to offer him a part refund as I would have had to paid the postage back still ****s me off to this day

An offer to go and collect the item in person for a refund usually puts that one to bed. A lot of chancers on eBay but most are just bluffing for a few easy quid back.
