Evening all

I'm looking to go away with the missus the first week of April.

Needs to be decent accomodation that you can fish from, with a hot tub.

I'm based in Oxford but happy to travel pretty much anywhere in the UK.

Blackthorne looks perfect but no hot tubs.

Anyone got any recommendations please?

I like the look of the other two.

When fishing at Badwell, do you fish next to the lodge? Ok for nights?

Nanpusker looks good, seems like you can fish from the lodge

Quite costly but Nuddock Wood? never been but looks decent enough.

Yeah, it's next door to the main lake, it has some huge properties on it but I also think it has at least one small one. Think it might be a separate website to the main fishery one, but it's all owned by the same people.

Leisure Lakes up in Southport has some posh pods. Not sure about hot tub but I think one of them might have.

Some very good takeaways nearby too if you like Indian food.

have a look at lakeside cullompton

There is St Tinney farm holidays ,owned, run by the Windley family ..its at Otterham Station just off the A39 very nice place and you'd have at least three lakes to yourself

They have lodges,pool...and a onsite pub which I have been in many ,many times,called St Tinney arms ,its a private as well...lol..

Speak to Mr Mark Windley on the phone, his nephew,trained at Sparsholt college specifically for St Tinney ,...I'm not certain if Toby is still involved but it's a lovely place as well...

Lovely lake and at the back of the complex so quiet as well. I used to fish it a fair few years ago before they put lodges on.

If you do book and get osprey, long chuck down right hand margins always worked for me.

The wife booked it for my Christmas present - the closest she has got to coming fishing in the 10 years we have been together is to drop of supplies twice so I am guessing it ticks the boxes, bring on March :-)

We've booked Badwell Ash :-)

Stafford moor is worth a look mate but I'd pretty much bet anything that's it's already booked up, think normally you have to book a year or so in advance well it sued to be anyway

The hardest fighting fish I've ever known , if you're there on Sunday get yourself down the pub about 10 mins walk away for the best roast dinner I've ever had in my lifetime, no exaggeration, was amazing , you need to book coz it gets rammed in there, good luck mate 🎣🎣

That was next to me , I was in wagtail , there was two lad's fishing your one so plenty of room . Big willow down the right margin if I remember right
