Due to a no braid rule on a new water I'm fishing, I've had to go back to mono. After a good few years of using braid fishing close in and at range i forgot how stretchy my old faithful esp syncro 15lb is. The lake itself involves fishing upto snags at ranges of up to 130 yards, over series of bars, very weedy and littered with pads.
As a result I'm in need of a robust very low stretch mono, for both bite indication and feeling a decent drop, if anyone can recommend something along those lines.

Yep, this is the lowest stretch mono
line I've used. You used to be able to buy from Poland through eBay

Subline is like a bungee cord..
CM90 has enough stretch.. alot more than Touchdown.

How's the abrasion on the p line? I used to use one called halo from them many years ago when Johnson Ross stocked it. Looks like it could be a contender for me having just read a bit about it.

I'm pretty sure it's pre stretched, so go by diameter not BS (as always). I found the 0.35 to be a good all round line and never had issues with abrasion resistance

Fishing to snags at 130 yards over bars, heavy weed and pads with mono, hope the venue has a boats available at all times. P line extrusion is a pre stretched mono and for your intended use I'd want a minimum 0.40 diameter line regardless of claimed breaking strain.

I use Korda Touchdown and find it really good, ignore the Breaking Strain though and go with the Diameter.
I prefer the Brown to the Green too.

Boats are available if needed, it's not like that in every single swim, just an extremity of a particular area, and that isn't a series of obstacles in that one swim just an overview of the lake itself. It's just a typical gravel pit, I've got plenty of experience of snag fishing for big carp having spent many years on frogmore, north met and a few other very snaggy waters doing it both at range and under the rod tip.. I also know what's acceptable, I certainly don't fish areas to loose fish, it's not part of my ethos, I appreciate some of the concerns raised hence asking for opinions on more suitable equipment for the job.
For the most part it's 60-80 yard fishing, some close to snags, weed and pads, equally as much is just open water. but I'd like something that will cover as much as possible if a need arises, and a line that will aid indication and feel when casting more than anything. I understand finding everything in a mono isn't achievable but for the most part it hasnt got to have super sinking properties as It'll be fishing bow string and locked up alot of the time when any obstacles are about.
It's a shame about the braid ban really, would erase all the problems. I'll certainly get a spool of the p line for a look, aswell as any others that may get recommended that may fit the bill.

Having been on here a long time and read many of your posts I'm aware of your experience and wasn't having a pop at you as past post prove your a very capable experienced angler. I'm fishing a very heavily weeded lake but braid is permitted but I'm currently not using it to fish with as I personally don't like it so I'm using nash bullet mono in 20ib 0.40, reluctant to recommend it as it does have a little stretch and we all like different things but I like it a lot, and prefer it to syncro xt in 18lb 0.37 and a few others I've tried.

To be fair I just re read didn't mean to come across as argumentative my bad, it was more just to try and deter others from taking things off track which regularly happens with things like this, I'd just clicked your message to reply to. Appreciate your input, have ordered a spool of .40 and .35 to look at and test at home, interested to see if any others recommendations pop up in the mean time.
