Wouldn't go too mad on a load of extra's in November, most you'll need is your thermal/winter suit, a hot water bottle and an extra few tins of gas, maybe a sleeping bag cover if you've got a 3 season bag and that's only if the weather is really bad.

Hot water bottle is the one if the temperature really drops. More likely to be wet than properly cold so a decent set of breathable waterproofs and plenty of change of clothes would be a good shout.

What would you use if you was doing a night here in november? Use that and make sure you have enough for a week.
Its only across the channel so the climate isnt going to be all that different to here.

impossible to say what the weather is going to be in November in France this early
I have fished in shirtsleeves weather but also when the lake has started to freeze in November
my advice double skin bivvy good warm clothing a good bag and a cover is essential

I would say first of all depends where your going.
North will be degrees colder than the south. Which will probably be a lot warmer the here.
Why do so many ask for specific information without giving at least a general location.
