As the title says really, is there any preference on the two baits.
Looking at ordering bulk ready for when I go to France in July. Thanks

Oxfords is actually Geoff Bowers mix, if you're going to get it might as well get it from him he could do you whatever flavour you wanted?
Personally I'd say that are emphatically superior but baits out there, poacher baits, dynamite and mad baits spring to mind. I'm sure poachers will be rolled fresh to order if buying freezer bait so will be freshest for tge weeks trip.
If you're downright decided that it MUST be one of the two, then with a frankly traumatised heart and forever shaken spirit, I'd go with Cell 😂

Mad baits!!??
Whilst you do post some drivel, i thought that you had what seemed to be decent bait knowledge. Even mad baits will tell you that their nut bait isnt a premium product

No I wasn't dead set on them two baits, iv just heard good reviews on them. As I know everyone has different opinions on different baits as there is so many nut based baits out there.

Was thinking the same, I've seen a lot of baits and Mad would be somewhere near the bottom of the list of what I'd ever think of using
OP as you say there is plenty of nut baits out there, depending on what you want from it I would be more inclined to look around at ingredients and see which actually contain decent amounts of other nut meals, not just your standard tiger and peanut. There is a few out there using brazil, almond, hazelnut, and a few others in decent amounts which imo make them stand out a mile from the basic mixes
Might be worth asking the fishery you're going to for their advice too.

I would stay well clear of madbaits especially there nut bait it's absolutely terrible and borderline unusable. Just a brittle ball of what I can only describe as floor sweepings. You will do absolutely fine with either of the two you have mentioned it will just come down to price. I've never used cell but used OCB And have nothing bad to say about them 👍🏼

As been already said stick with the original and go with ABS 👍👍
Blake's do a very nice nut bait, not used it personally but it smells incredible and heard good things from friends

Isn't the dynamite bait monster tiger nut contain a lot of tiger nut flour no actual nut meal? Personally used joes mc nut and it's a decent bait. Chuck another one in the mix Rg baits vita lac

So if both baits are basically bread crumb (according for you) you'd go for the one at £11 a kilo rather than £7 or cheaper?
Or how about just get Geoff to make his version of Cell, as its “fairly“ close.
Starting to think that he must've left swiped you on Grindr......

Hi,
I've been having a similar dilema of late and tried a few .
Dont mean to hijack the thread but this may be of interest as it seems like a bit of both.
Has anyone any experience of LLB baits?
specifically the Tigernut 42 which is described as a tiger nut bait with Cell elements
thanks
Neil.

Thank you.
Not being a bait buff its trial and error for me before putting trust in the long term, hoping that the bait doesn't also change over time once a decision has been made.
I dont like chopping and changing with bait, just another mind game niggle if you do
thanks
Neil.

If looking for a nut bait take a look at Kenny's Maple mega nut at Asylum baits. Catches them everywhere.

I have been using Oxford for quite a while and done well on it
Or try his Ckok Ice
Poacher nut is also a good alternative
If you want something a bit different try A baits wasp a yellow bait and very instant

A far better alternative IMO is Aquabaits Maple Milk, very much under the radar but simply top level amongst nut based baits. Spence understands what makes a good bait..

Quite possibly worth mentioning the venue in France? if it's one of the commercials that is popular with UK anglers someone on the forum who's been might offer you some advice on what they used to good effect at the venue and possibly at that time of year, you may be visiting a public which you may want to keep quite so fully understandable not to mention it.
You obviously had the two baits you mention in mind for a reason I would pick one and go with it they'll both catch fish if your on them and apply it to the right areas, I can already see the way this thread is heading it will end up locked and someone banned and you wont know whether your ******* is punched, bored or drilled by the end of it.
