Hi All,
Any users on here on these alarms and thoughts? I see they have come down in price a bit and was considering a set of these over the usual brands given they are built in the UK and have a 3 year warranty too.
I only thing that has put me off is they look rather large but then so are the RX+ I guess.

Loving mine
Still relatively early days obvs but they seem fantastic bits of kit.
Been lucky to have all the top end alarms over the years so feel like I have some comparables to go to.

I have always used Fox alarms and more recently the NXR's and RX+ - I liked the idea of the Wolf alarms but the price put me off, then I watched some videos and the they sounded really cheap with no depth to the sound at all and I couldn't bare the thought of changing

Sold my rx+ for what I payed for them after two years but they were mint well looked after and bought the wolf set for similar money. As said previously early days but so far love them and they come with five years warranty when you register them.

Outlaw pro were by far the cheapest as bradders said as i almost bought a set. Got all the way to checkout but changed my mind at the last minute and staying with my delks txi d's. My biggest worry after owning my ace i3's is whether they will still be trading in a couple of years. The 5 year warranty is great on paper but no good if the company is no longer trading. The bite alarm market is the hardest one of all to crack. The ace i3 alarms were probably the best alarms ever made imo but they still went bust. I dont think wolf have enough genuine new products in there range to keep them in business and what they have brought out recently are already available on the market like there powerbank a market ridgemonkey have already conquered. I dont think you will ever move people away from fox or delkim im affraid.

Maybe that's the reason why they went bust.
The price of the wolf alarms is high, maybe a bit to high to concer a large share of the market.
But to be honest, all alarms go up in price.
Fox does with every update and nash did as well. It seems only delkim keep their prices at the same level.

I can only go off my own personal findings with my ace i3's and they never missed a beat. I believe they are still working fine with the lad i sold them to well over 10 years later.

Ace didn't go bump and the only reason they stopped making the i3 is due to cost.There is a forum member who help develop them I believe,im waiting for his alarms to hit the market if he does do them

Hes a very brave man if hes going to release a new alarm.
I spoke with Max cottis a few times when i had my i3's who was behind the i3's and they wernt selling enough of them to make it viable no matter how good they were. He even gave me his own personal isotopes for free for my alarms as ii told him i couldnt get any anywhere. Hes a really nice bloke is Max. He said they were going to release a cheaper version of the i3 coming without the receiver but it never happened.

👍🏻 Ive seen him post about the i3's before. Knowing the carp world people prob wont buy them if there to cheap as they wont look the part or have the same status as some delks or rx's.

I have had the Wolf Qi since they first came out. They have been 100% reliable in all weathers and are extremely well made. The features are wide ranging and easy to use. I've had most high end alarms and these are my favourite.

I had a look at them at the Big One and was surprised at how big they are. Clearly saturated with features and if they are that reliable then great, but definitely too bulky for my needs when there are alarms at a fraction of the cost and size to do the job I need

Totally agree with your comments. They do exactly what they are meant to do and do it reliably and well. Simple large dial adjustment or adjustable from the Hubb receiver, no fiddly knobs that can't be turned easily in the cold and no multiple button presses and menus to adjust basic functions. Also an industry leading warranty.
