I'm thinking of adding braid to my spare spools for water's that allow braid

Who's used braid alongside Delkims?

Did it cause any issues or cuts into the alarms?

Please help 😂😂

That's handy to know!

I would expect something if fishing locked up ect constantly but don't see that as a need generally

Hopefully a few more will commment

If you're locked up with braid I'd say your rod would be in before the alarm had any damage!

A sliced delkim would be the least of my problems then

25 years using different braids from Outcast to Power pro and various models of Delkim and never had any such problems.

been using 25lb to 30lb braid with mine for years and years

and I have never had any problems what so ever

I have seen braid cut into the original txi I have not seen any issues with new style Delkim but I don't use braid as much now as waters don't allow it.

Been using 40 and 50 lb PP with my TXis for over 5 years.
Don't lock up really tight, but no problems at all.

I still use the original txi with 60lb braid and have done for 5 years now not one problem.

I used sinking Braid and it nearly cut me delkim in half.

The only braid i use is sinking been using it for piking with 4 oz leads for donkeys with no probs.You obviously had clutch set tight

I only used mainly a sinking braid ?

Been using 30lb Power Pro for years with the original Txi's and now the Txi-D. Never had a problem, other than you have to turn the sensitivity down more than with mono. The vibration sensor works so much better with braided mainline.

Used braid with various Delkims for 20 years plus, zero issues, including the new ones.

Yes works absolutely fine. I started to fish a new carp and cat lake that allows braid this year and lost a big moggy on my 25lb mono and so I switched to 40lb spider wire braid on one of my spare sets of spools. I used it with the new TXI D's and it was perfect.

Haven't used braid recently but did so for a prolonged period a number of years ago with a set of Delks and had no issues.
