I re-watched all his films during the first lockdown, he gave us a short taster of an up coming series a while ago now (relaxed runs not sure if this was going to be the title or not) it would be nice to see him back

Just to update anyone who might not have faceache. Steve the carpcatcher has quit blogging. No details as to why etc just a post he made on Facebook a couple of days ago:

I'm now officially retired.
I'll leave all the films up but will close this account at some point in the near future.
Just want to thank you all for the last 14 years.

Love his videos, real high and low journey of Carp fishing. Had the pleasure of meeting him on a syndicate a few years back. Lovely bloke to talk to, real friendly.

On his FB page just before Christmas he's posted that he will start filming again this year

I got into a conversation with someone under one of his videos and made the heinous mistake of saying that you could catch a carp on a potato if you put it in the right place. This was before I found out that he runs or works for a bait company.
He barred me from commentating.
