I did 72hrs there this week, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
Surly reception staff, no pellets available until later in the day (No one to bag any up apparently) toilets on site (Which is a plus) but in a bad state of repair, toilet roll also in short supply (I'd got my own) No soap or hand dryer. The lakes were desperately in need of a top up of water and generally everywhere was a little untidy.
All in all not an enjoyable experience and one I doubt I'll repeat.
Is this the norm for ND ?? I would have though being owned by DF everything would be top notch.

Well obviously they're not going to run the hose out, but the level of the lakes are well below the swims, so yes they could do with a top up one way or another, unless they've built the swims too high of course.
I'm a little disappointed in the whole place to be honest. If you're going to provide toilets, at least provide enough toilet paper as well, and when you've done your business, be nice to actually wash and dry your hands, rather than just rinse them under the cold tap, especially with what the country is going through at the moment
The person at reception hadn't even got a pen to write my time of arrival on my sticker with. They passed me a plastisized note that had the rules written on for me to read. How many other anglers had touched that since it'd been cleaned ?? i was told there was plenty of space on the lake i wanted to fish, only to find just one swim left when i got there. The water level though is out of their control, as with most gravel pits they are at the mercy of the water table. The warwr level will fluctuate, You can't ‘top them up'. Swims should be built to cater for the water level at its highest so they've done this right it seems.

Couple of mates of mine went a couple of months ago, said it was shocking and ended up going somewhere else without setting up.

went a few months back, 2 lakes were booked for a match which was announce via FB the day before. Got there super early to get a swim and there were cars already ahead some had been there since 2am!!!
Organisation was fairly poor and a lot of moaning anglers about. Fished 2 nights, done ok but probably wouldnt go back.
I also agree regarding water levels, very low although this was a few months back so assumed they might have been sorted by now, guess not.

Few of us went last week and it wasnt fishing the best,
I managed a fish on a new bait so i was happy with that.
Now it was mad busy and not much was coming out all over the complex but we cant control that its fishing at the end of the day.
What i will say is on arrival my mate got locked inside a toilet as the handles where knackered (easy fix) but the staff knew about it so why has it not been done? That could have been in the middle of the night,
Its busy mad busy and needs constant maintaince .
I would go back.. on one condition. They got rid of the rats, the is is a chronic problem with rats an thare

I've been several times......
But not recently, I had no issues with rats and I've fished 3 different lakes
I found the staff mostly helpful although they did prefer to stand about chatting more than doing odd jobs....
Maybe an age thing....
It does get very busy. However each swim does have its “own” water .. unlike some other day ticket lakes that are of a similar style
I will return as I've personally enjoyed each previous visit

Interesting regarding the Rats. There was some posts on their FB page a few days ago with pictures of someone getting a wetting after catching a PB. Someone else commented on Weil's disease and whether it was wise to throw water at someone, and the post has since been deleted.

I had 3 in my swim on turners overnite ( and yes my bait buckets were sealed and clean i put them in the waters edge to spomb with no bank spillage) the young lad next door went home and said hes been hammered with them and left
I reeled in on the morning to go see my pal round the far end and hed been up all night with em and my other pal on i think its pettits (facing the lodge) had a bag in the tree with his leftovers in and there was 2 in it in the night and he had to take it down and go lock it inside his van at 3am
There is a definate problem.
We also noticed a pest control van on arrival so maybe they trying to sort it 👍🏻

I must have had half a dozen Rats in my swim early evenings. Had one run between my legs as I sat out late. Again, sealed lids and only the pellets I'd dropped spodding during the day (I'd been careful) I'm a light sleeper and could hear them scratching all night.

Yes starting to sound like a poorly run commercial fishery and clearly the clientele don't give a damn.
All it takes is bailiffs to police the banks and educate those anglers. If there is no food they'll soon move on.
Put traps out every night for a few nights as well and eventually the problem will be dealt with.

There's car parks dotted around the lakes, but only a few pegs near to them, and they will probably be taken. Barrow required on most pegs. No drop off at pegs either.
