OK mate,how's it going..

I got the 2.5tc CTX,not the e class your wanting info on ,Paul had a set and loved them ,but if you want a lovely full on players action,we thought the CTX,was nicer ,in our humble opinion..

Mine are now my only set of rods,use em on the ponds ,oppo me and up on the ressis,up your way no problems.. I like them very much....

Like all freespirit rods the reel seats can slacken off a bit in use til they bed in..

Had a set in 3.5tc.. rings all went rusty within 6 months. Sent them back and got refunded with fox horizon x instead. Awesome rods. On the bank with them now.

Holding you responsible for me buying a set of new rods I didn't really need today mate 😜

Bought a pair did you 🤣🤣👍

I have a set of 2.5lb Torrix and they are a joy to use. I tend to opt for them over my 3.25, as it's so much more fun playing fish.

Not that many 2.5tc for sale - not fashionable are they, people are missing out - fun, also a 2.5 will put a lot more pressure on a fish so am I right in thinking snag fishing? Need a set of reels think the emcast 25a will balance them lovely. Should of gone fishing yesterday would of been cheaper 🤣🤣

I have E Class in 1.5lb TC for my Tench fishing ,love them so I got the 2.5s for a small Carp syndicate I fish .
If they suit your style of fishing you'll love using them

What's the action like on these? Are they through/parabolic action like I hear the TS/ES are or are they a faster action like the heavier TC E class?

I'd say more parabolic than through action and definitely not a tippy rod.Medium action would be a fair description.

Just in case anyone was considering some of these... I ordered 3 in the end and they turned up today. Stunning rods, lovely and light with the 40mm ringing and a very slim blank.

Not used in anger yet but they seem great so far 👍🏻

The 2.25s must be the 'relaunch' range and not the Mk1,so to speak.

Probably changed the rings.. lovely rods , but I'm not a fan of rust

Now I've got them can't decide what reels .I have put my shim 10000 x aero on them they just don't balance right to heavy. Like the emblem br 25a but don't like the spare spool price, emcast 25a seems a lot of reel for the money? Any suggestions feedback appreciated.

My son put 10,000 Baitrunners on his but I have four emcast 25a's if he needs a couple.

I'm thinking the emcast 25a will balance better.

Same thought this side... I put my tournies on and promptly took them off again! Spoilt the balance of the rod.

Thinking ultegra 5500 ci4s might be worth a look. Not cheap though.

Just bought 3 daiwa emcast 25a to go on these - couldn't justify the price of the other small reels on the market- would of loved the emblem br25a but not prepared to pay £50 for a spare spool!

Emcast 25a are great reels for the money and I preferred them to my castizms as not so bling and no quick drag.
