As above ive had a trakker nxg 45l one that's going to go any day now, broken handles zips etc. mainly my fault as I do like to load it up! what's out there that's robust and will last a while? needs to hold buzz bars and alarms

Totally agree on the speero rucksack had mine a year now... Top quality, versatile and has a built in alarm and banstick pocket...
Lots of room, plus you can add a cool bag or standard clip on bag, if you need further capacity or doing longer sessions... Big thumbs up from me 👍

NI patrol pack

I have a Korda rucksack that I'm very happy with. No negative that I can find. The thinking anglers I had was also very good but is probably too small for what you are after

I bought the Sonik Sk-tek rucksack
Very happy with it, really good quality, my Buzzer Bar Bag is 45cm × 20cm × 10cm and can put it in the large side pocket,
The small side pocket holds a Jrc Rova Accessory Bag camo whit my Rm 180 bivvy lamp / AB, headtorch and receiver in it, The 3rd side pocket is 31 x 25

For our clothes we are going to buy one from: Brandit (Zalando)

Brilliant rucksack esp most comfortable rucksack ever had and I have had a lot totally agree let down with single zips and for me I liked the flap pockets in the main compartment that they had in the original see what the quick draw ones like when it comes out

totally agree... ESP is the perfect size me, comfortable and seems very durable... a few little tweaks, especially the zippers would stop me eyeing up the Speero compact

the large cotswold one has been good for me.

I have the trakker deluxe rucksack, it's very well made and has a lot of good size pockets. I really like mine tbh

Your the only person I've heard that's happy with ca rucksack there reputation is that there the most uncomfortable rucksacks out there I had a mk3 terrible used it on barra couldn't carry it esp have it right imho

Zinno,watch the stitching on Brandit stuff,I had an 80 litr Aviator,which I sent back,its currently stuck in customs in the Netherlands, awaiting clearance, to get to Poland..

Lovely material let down by poor finishing..

the rhino has been great, i seriously load it up and carry it as much as barrowing, i would agree with the roamer rucksacks though, i sold mine.

I love my Speero rucksack but hardly think it's big, though I do take the kitchen sink
A big quality Rucksack IMO is the Saber one, well priced too.

I brought the saber 90ltr

Best bag I had for years.
Fairly cheap too.

I have to agree about the cotswold bags being a touch uncomfortable however I struggle to find a Rucksack to fit me properly. The deceptor I have holds absolutely loads of gear and doubles up as a barrow bag and I found the shoulder strap more comfortable to carry it with. Its expensive howver I got it second hand for a bargain price and on the back of that I've purchased more of their gear for the quality.

Although I own a few bits of speero and csnt fault that either for quality and function

Has anyone seen or used the Gardner ruck sack

It's designed for the river fishermen really have seen a few use one for carping

I have both the original Aqua Union Jack 45 litre and 110 litre rucksacks. Both must be nigh on 15 -17 years old and still going strong.They are packed with features and internal pockets and you can zip up the back straps into their own compartment if you want to use it more as a bag.

They come up occasionally for sale on eBay and FB marketplace. Definitely a case of some old fishing gear has never been bettered 👍

Don't buy a fishing branded rucksack - most are over-priced rubbish. Take a look at Military 1st... I use Wisport rucksacks, utter quality and you can add additional pouches via the Molle system. A Sparrow 30 with two side pockets added each side is my standard rucksack for carp fishing. Just brilliant, takes all the gear I need, has lots of internal storage to get stuff organised and easy to locate, clam shell design - so lay it down and it zips right open... super comfortable to wear and quality is awesome. Don't waste your money on fishing branded rucksacks when you can get something so much better!

Avoid most fishing brand rucksacks, get Military types.
My big Bergen is over 15years old now I think and still going strong.
It has lasted longer than the total of 3 Kevin Nash Tackle rucksacks did.

Esp one mint well made and cheap

I've got quite broad shoulders so struggle with the likes of the speero bags even tho they are so well made and through out, over the years the best 2 bags I've found which have adjustable straps and height etc are the greys Prodigy Tackle base Rucksack, and the fox fx rucksack which is the one I'm using now I only sold the Prodigy bag because I thought the cotswold aquarius bag I got cheap would replace it but it was no where near as comfortable.

Now if I look for a Rucksack I make sure it has properly adjustable straps purely because of how other bags sit on my shoulders and slice into my armpits.
