Just a question out of personal interest. Without the inclusion of boilies, what's everyone favourite hookbait for Carp? My number 1 is Sweetcorn be it real or imitation or a combination of both on my hair rig, closely followed by luncheon meat.

Purely as a hookbait, I like using 2 kp dry roasted peanuts.. They seem to have an uncanny knack of catching a good few fish.

It's either peanuts, tigers or corn for me, can't choose one in particular.

Corn or dynamite halibut pellets for me - haven't used halibuts for ages but always used to do very well on them, generally outfished boilies by a good margain.

Either a chunk of luncheon meat or bacon grill.
That'll do pig.
