I'm in the market for some new rods. I like the look of the Shimano TX2 12ft 3.25lb but they're out of stock everywhere. Has anyone used the fox horizon X3 or X4 rods please?
Any other recommendations for the same length and TC will be welcomed.

The tx2 12ft 3.25 are a great rod I used to have them before upgrading, I couldn't recommend them enough infact my daughter wants to start coming next year so I'll be getting her some 10ft versions to use

I use the shimano 13ft tx2 intensity rods and tbh prefer them over a set of free spirit s-lites that I have in 3.5lb 12ft.

I've just orderd some Avid TC Pro rods in 12' 3lb for £256 for 3 from Total Fishing, they have 3.25 as well. I have the same in 10ft 3lb and love them, very good build 1k weave etc, well worth a look.

Unless the guy is looking specifically to cast to the moon 3/4 of those rods would be horrible.

I have the horizon x5 as my fishing rods, and the x3 as my spod and markers, I'm so impressed with the spod and markers honestly, I would happily use them as a fishing rod at 3.25, they're a proper tool, I would absolutely recommend the Horizon X3
