Hello guys been making my own specials for years and thought I'd ask what u guys thought from your own esperiments?

I was interested in which of the JB range, you guys actually use and rate ?

what levels of the flavour to 1 egg mix, u prefer?

They're supposed to be stronger and not needed in lesser volumes but a lot of people advocate for both sides.

Iv used dosages from .5 in combo or single upto 2 mil and have caught good fish on both. Also alongside other flavours. Gets confusing

Many thanks

If using a fishmeal then plum& ala salar is a winner. 1 egg mix I use a mil of each. More than John advises but I tend to dry my cork balls out rather than freeze them as John does. If freezing them I would go with 1/2 a mil of each per egg.

Nice info I dry mine for about 8/12 hrs and then freeze or store in fridge. Guessing the amount of time u dry for can def lower some of the flavours Strength.

Yes, you definitely lose a lot through evaporation.

Muskspice is based on the original Barbel Search 4. The base of which is from the pet food industry and is rabbit and duck.

Thing is, u gotta take into account, varying concentrations over time, that the boilie is submersed, sat at the bottom of the lake. Another issue is individual sensitivity to chemical concentrations, by carp of different ages etc. So many variables that come into play.

JB´s 0.5ml might be the optimum to give "instant" attraction from the point of introduction, whereas 1ml might take 2+ hours of submersion, to get to that level of concentration, before being taken. I´m still on the fence with flavour levels, especially JBs

Then again, carp are inquisitive creatures and tend to investigate possible food sources, be they attractive or repulsive(repellant)

If you catching on 0.5ml and on 2ml its obviously working for you at both levels. Why use more than you have to? If 0.5ml works then use it at that level.

Yes, especially when Frank Recommends 20mil of some flavours in his singles and often catches on them quickly. Must be the investigation trigger that they are responding to.

Haha exactly that, glad I am not the only one who is struggling to make any certain rules, or guidelines.
Iv tried various approaches, levels etc on fished and also guested waters, and it all it really comes down to is the day in question.

The time of yr etc, the fish age is very good point lol. I imagine the depths and temp may also play a part in results. water quality and conditions also. Trying to pull any scientific results/tests is near impossible lol 😂

Because tbh i am a weirdo have to play about. even if I'm having 4 carp a night I always think maybe I could pull 5 lol 😂

I'm very curious and love to test as I fish keeps me keen and sometimes produces a littl edge l, or atleast extra confidence 😂

I've had a play about with his new hookbait mixes as their ready to go and they dry out nice...I roll mine by hand so their all sorts of sizes and they've been good

I see also he's released a dosage chart for his flavours which gives you a starting point 👍

Do you have a link to the dosage chart? He mentioned it in a video and I couldn't find it on his website.
