Is anyone a member of any of the Embryo syndicate venues? Will likely be getting offered a ticket for one this year and wondered how people have found them?

I got a winter ticket at one of there venues not been able to go with the bloody lockdown, just been sent the email to renew for the upcoming year, so would like to know aswell

And the other members tbo. Can have the best ballifs and management in the world but if there's a contingent of nobbers on the lake...

I'm a member of Phil's Lake & will rejoin again next year. I'm not sure of numbers but the lake never seems super busy to me, with five or six people on average, of a weekend. Not got much to compare it with TBH as its the first syndicate I've joined, but everyone I've spoken to seems friendly & the bailiffing team are great & very helpful. I'd say go for it if you get offered a place. I don't think you can go wrong at the price.

I'm a member on Phil's and Bakers & Homefield. I've renewed for both next year.

Great lakes, fair rules, good members and helpful Baliffs. I'd say go for it :-)

I'm on Cables and bakers/home field, they are never busy, the bailiff team are great, no silly rules, I have rejoined again this year, hopefully get a few more sessions on them this year,

member of Stanton, found it to be the most down to earth syndicate i've been on, no silly rules and anything goes within reason, met some great blokes, feels sort of old school ish, and cant see me dropping the ticket anytime soon totally recommend! shame the fishery manager stepped down last year he was a top bloke!! hope the next person runs it as he did!

only complaint the chickens !! dont mind chickens but my god they will clear out your food bag if its unattended! time again they have taken my custard creams !!!

How do Embryo actually aquire the waters they take over? Does it cause an upward pressure on angling clubs rents of waters.

I don't think it has much of an effect to be honest. I think a lot of their waters were either not fisheries, or were a bit of a free for all or have been given over to them as the controlling clubs didn't want them anymore.

I'm on a syndicate not a million miles away from broom. Hasn't had any impact on our lease. I've not heard that any other clubs round my way like Shefford have increased prices since Korda arrived.

Same with cables aswell, I suppose that close to the Thames you are in the hands of the gods when it comes to weather

When I joined one of the lakes they didn't send out the rules until you got your ticket. Bit weird but they were sensible enough so no problem.

Waiting to see if any places on the list for devils lane become available
