Anyone bought shallow spools for the 12000 shimano xtb mgs from custom reel king got any feedback? The MV spools came back with sh*t feedback but fancy some shallow ones for braid and these look promising

They don't sell them for that reel mate, all the other Techniums are catered for but the Black Mag isn't.
From the name of the company you'd expect them to do Custom Work on reels... they don't.
They just retail a few bits for you to put on yourself. There is a gap in the market for the real custom work in the UK.

Spoke to them directly and they don't do the spools for the Technium 10000 XSC either

had a response back last night from reel king via messenger and they will have spools that fit the Shimmy 12000 xtb mgs in about 4 weeks time apparently

Right lads I've just received 3x spools for my Technium Aero 10000 XSC's. Reel King said that they could not get them so I went directly to MV spools. This company has impressed me more than any other seller in the last 10 years.
When I decided to place my order the payment did not go through, so I tried again and it did the same. As I tried for the third time I received a message from my bank asking if I was making a transaction in Spain and that they had put it on hold. As I told them yes and they unfroze the transaction MV Spools sent me a message asking if everything was ok as I'd attempted to make 3 purchases. I explained what had happened and they were happy with that and deleted 2 of the purchases as only 1 had been paid for. I received a message from MV Spools when they shipped (I'd chosen the fully insured carriage) and last night I received a message from Royal Mail saying they had arrived in the UK and had cleared customs. They were delivered today just after lunch. On first impressions they fit superbly and are very well made. Really, really impressed with how MV Spools have conducted themselves here and a lot of UK retailers would do well to take note of their customer service. I have photos which I will send of the spools on and off a reel and on some scales if any of you wish

Please do. I've heard a few negative things about MV which put me off a bit but I do need some spare spools for my emblem 5000 black edition and at £50 a pop due to be discontinued MV is a cheaper alternative. Be good to see a few pics.

Some facebook group they were posted about and there was a few saying about never receiving orders, poorly made etc. Plenty on there saying how good they were too but obviously you take note of the negative stuff too.

Spools now loaded. My Techs only have 1 quite thick washer on the spindle and this had to be removed as they were loading the MV's towards the rear. Now just need to try them in anger. Loaded with line they are 54g or 1.9 oz lighter than the Shimano spool.

Clips and carbon drag already done. There is a sticking point if you turn the spools both ways. Easy way of remedying this is just make sure when setting bobbins that you have turned the spool slightly to release a bit of line. I haven't worked out why this is happening?

Your spool clicker might be bottoming out on the nylon gear on the reel by being a fraction to long.

The same thing happened to me when i fitted the uprated spool clickers to my ci4 5500 xtb's after a bit of head scratching i realised what it was and took the clicker off and just ground a bit off them and kept trying bit by bit until i had them right
