just seen a quick video on Facebook of another new tempest, the tempest brolly 100.
I for the life of me can't see any difference to the last offering of a brolly. the social front looks quite good.
its almost like trakker are releasing tempests for the sake of it.

Got to be a replacement for the v2 brolly and advanced brolly. Looks like a normal tempest brolly with 2 vents added

Ridiculous they don't need all these different tempests they just needed a full bivvy and a higher tempest brolly for tall people and people with bad backs when will it end

All it's for is a replacement for the v2/100 brolly exactly the same just with vents don't see the problem really seeing everyone was asking for vents, wait till the new tempest with the “upgraded” aquatexx EV comes out that will with the one that is most likely not needed, although I'm all for companies improving maybe not a new bivvy every year but I like companies trying new things
If Trakker really want to bring out a better updated tempest models . They should look at making them with a flat back like the Titans & titan hide models

You don't honestly think that they give a toss how comfortable anglers are It's not about making improvements if it was they would have put rear vents in the v2 it's about getting everyone thinking they need the next best thing selling there's and buying the new one money money money if they had there way you would be changing bivvy s every six months

I completely agree most tackle items are way way overpriced especially shelters but so long as people pay the silly prices nothing will change yes there are a few firms selling similar products with better prices but sadly it seems once they get a good amount of customers up go the prices

I might be in the market for a new brolly this coming spring, hopefully this will mean the V2 will come down in price to clear the stock 😄

I agree I have the tempest 100t with all the extras and I won't change to any other one unless something happens to this one, completely upto anglers to buy it or not. I'm not being forced to buy any more of these newer types only thing I will buy is when the social cap comes out

Oval beds are there for a reason, saving as much space as possible in the Tempest (that was the concept behind it) but not everyone wants a 93cm wide and heavy bedchair, why not just make a flat Tempest in non-hobbit dimension...

Funny to see woo many people say they are too small. Those tempests, even the brollys are enormous. I've been wanting one smaller since they come out. Won't fit in half the swims on my syndicate waters

Agreed - love the concept and have a second hand V2. A smaller one would be ideal for me, all it needs to cover is a compact bed, rucksack and bait bucket.
a Tempest75 type size would be perfect for me - no vents though!

Why no vents? If you want a small tempest grab the brolly, it's plenty small enough, especially if you tighten the tension strap up a bit, it adds a little height and redcluces the footprint. If the swim is big enough for a bed, then the brolly will fit

I've had experience of it not fitting in swims that my 50 inch brolly does. Hence why it went by the wayside. Understandably it's a limited market small shelters so it more than likely won't ever happen. Masses need pleasing. Shame though as it is a fantastic concept.

I find that quite odd as I used the brolly for years and I could get it Into tight swims which my old hog squeezed into, and the old hog was based on a 50 inch brolly? I pulled the tension strap up tight and could literally get my bed, bait bag and carryall underneath with no spare space. Very rarely did I need to do that though.

I love the mechanism, stability, the fact it is free standing, light and compact (if stripped down) when packed. I have found it too big for some swims i fish, where i can wedge my Low Pro in, or previously my 50inch brollie.
Unfortunately i realise this is a small part of the market, but a shelter with the modern design of the tempest, kept simple but with a smaller size to the existing tempests would be great (for some of us obviously! but those who wan a larger shelter are very well catered for these days).

I think vents should be on all shelters these days, just to give the user the option. If you don't want to use them, then don't. As for size, as I just said I don't get it regarding the brolly as it squeezes down to a similar footprint to a 55" brolly. Maybe the v2 is different but I know my old v1 squeezed down to be tiny

I agree I find my tempest v2 a bit big 55 inch would be a good size I don't think I would use rear vents either it doesn't get that hot at night in the summer my mates got rear vents and they have all torn the hide size looks good but I would never buy anything Nash
