A few of these paid subscription online Magazine type
programs are starting to crop up. Carp TV morphing into Cypography was the first. I believe Leon Bartroop has something similar on youtube. Dave lane on patreone. And now Daryl Peck with his Carpfix. Let's hope theres a market out there for all of them. With the amount of free content out there it's going to be difficult. They are probably working on the assumption that people once paid £15 a month for a few magazines why not the same for a few online vid subscriptions.

Some people moan about these but each to their own, if you don't want to pay or watch it then don't bother with it and don't bother moaning.
I watch the Dave Lane Inner circle myself after watching all the vids during lockdown, he is a good storyteller and I don't begrudge the £6 a month to watch it.

Amen to that. Got to say, now I've watched all of it, Darrell's new venture is very good. Quality of the video's couldn't really be better.
I was a Cypography subscriber, which was also great, but one of these is enough money a month for me. With so many now venturing into the market I'll be interested to see which emerge as the best.

All very true.
I'm also a Cypography subscriber but the only thing I don't like is they never do any technical stuff like the rig video Darrell has done already.
I mean who doesn't love a rig tutorial ?

Yes I must say I consider myself pretty experienced, I have my rigs and I would rarely find myself tinkering with them. However, that rig Darrell's showing looks very tidy and his tutorial is so precise (measurements of lengths of shrink tube and stripped sections of braid etc). I could definitely see myself sitting down and tying one up exactly to his spec.
As I've said, it's a thumbs up from me.

Dave Lane is such a good story teller he is top for me right now, Leon is trying to put out educational stuff and has a growing supporter tribe. Cypography.. I pick and choose what I watch, Samir and Claire are my go-tos there.... and then there is Joes Carp Angle.

Cypography is starting to get on my nerves if I'm honest, just Elliot's mates or Nigel 'monotone' Sharp lately, might have to check Pecky's channel out
Signed up the other day. First subscription based product in angling I've tried. I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it. Really well put together. Enjoy listening to Pekkers too, which helps

Hi all, I used to be an avid user of CarpForum back when I was in uni. I still browse it now and again but don't chat as much as I used to.
Anyway...
I make the videos with Darrell for CarpFix. I left my job at Korda to take a chance at this. I'm so pleased to see lots of you love our videos. It may not seem it but it's a lot of work getting three videos out every month so I hope the variety of what we're putting out caters for you all, our plan is to have a mix of content which will please everyone.
You all give very honest opinions on here so if you have anything you would like to see of are not keen on I'd love to hear your ideas/comments. I won't take anything personally!
Lastly, for anyone who's not tried it I'd be happy to give CarpForum members a discount on the monthly plan. If you're already a member on the monthly you can message me and I can adjust your account. Mods, if this goes against your rules please let me know how I can cater for the members

Funnily enough My favourite parts are Pekkers Tekkers and the Big Carp Story at the moment.

I was a member of Cypography, but the content put out now, and before lockdown either has similar stuff available on Youtube or stuff I just don't want to watch. To be honest, I personally feel what was done making all videos available previous to the subscription changeover to anyone that paid for just 1 subscription wasn't on.
I gave it a chance after that....It isnt for me now.
I love Laneys "Inner Circle" stories, I donate to Joe's project and will look at CarpFix this evening.

Of course there isn't but we scan YouTube every day. We'd take it as a compliment if they tried. There's also nothing stopping people sharing multiple accounts. We're able to monitor activity and proactively close down accounts when this happens, it just takes us time to confirm they're abusing our system. Regards, Scott.

The list is endless.
Walk places like Hanualt, Longfield, Redmire, Savay, the norvern meres etc, speak to the blokes that fished um. Laney did it with Wrasbury which I and other anglers I've spoken to found it very interesting.
