My fox rangemaster 2 rods are starting to get tired now as iv had them for 15 years.
So I'm looking to upgrade, I don't fish much over 100 yards so don't need anything silly. My syndicate is 3 1/2 acres.
I have upto £1500 to spend on 3.
Was looking at the century graphene but looking for opinions if there's something better for my needs?

With that budget, go for Custom build.

If spending that sort of money then the World is your oyster basically. One thing I would say is don't rush into buying something as the rod has to be right for YOU & you alone. I would spend as much time going round shops looking at rods & blanks (if you can arrange a meet up with a rod builder during this pandemic) until you find something that you are 100% happy that they will do exactly what you want them to. I have my preferences & others will also have their own preferences, of which may suit myself or others but you may spend that money only to find when it comes to using them, that you are not happy with them & end up selling at a loss & starting again.

I have just bought some 2.5 graphenes and there beautiful rods that bend right trough to the butt. The 3lb version would be perfect. I would speak to a rod builder like kev clayton and they will guide you in the right direction as £1500 will buy you just about any rod you want.

I agree I would definitely go custom with that price range, you can literally get almost any rod around for that sort of price

I'm not sure if I'd get a custom set of rods unless I lived close to a decent rod builder. Build quality can be a bit poor if done badly.

Get some XX black edtion hi s's, love mine for smaller waters.
Look really nice and you can get a custom build option.
Free Spirit actually make them and you can order through South Coast Rods.

Hi's200's same reels. Small water is relative if your big water is 100+ acres.

Weird innit why so many people like unsuitable ridiculous overgunned rods more akin to sea fishing.Maybe it's a macho thing like having shaved head tats and a bullterrier or just a trend sheep follow .

Some 2.5lb or 3lb hi-s or stealth graphene i reckon. I don't fish a water in the uk bigger than 5-6 acres at my go to uk rods are 11 foot 2.5 baby ballistas find it easier to cast and compress a light rod anyhow as i have a shocking casting ability. Happily use them up to 90 yards for fish up to high 40's.

Took a while to decide but iv gone for a set of Harrison torrix customs.
Went for 12ft 3 1/4tc to give the option of longer casting if I move onto bigger waters
