After a spreader block for my fox eos landing net that is easy for
My to dismantle the net, hate the fussiness of popping the arms out on the current set up when I have landed a fish.
Any recommendations please?

Top notch tackle do one,I have it on my net Kev Clayton made me.It is quite heavy but with a net float its fine

I find on the sonik vader x landing nets I have the net arms are so easy to get in and out of the spreader block can get the spreader block of ebay for £9.99

They also do spreader block arms to any diameter so whatever size your net arms are they can fit their spreader block👍👍

Top Notch one is brilliant. As mentioned heavy but when used with net float no issues.

Been looking for 1 for ages, didn't even know they existed, though had my eye on their tent pegs a few years ago for the longer ones...

Gardner where the first to have collared net arms that I could find.
I have seen a similar design that's been refined smaller and more sexy. I'll ask
A pal where it got it from.
After all it's a steve Neville design. Wychwood made a very neat one.

There is a fox one on eBay for £50 keeps getting relisted offered £40 and collection initially agreed but then went silent Will look at top notch I think that's the one that you have to give the diameter of the net arms

Top Notch do 2 standard size arm receivers but I'd be checking carefully, he does do custom sizes.

The JRC Roamer x-lite I find has the perfect spreader block, you just pull the arms apart slightly and the wedge in the middle holding them apart drops down and then you can just fold the arms. Its also benefitted by having the end a push on fit to the handle so when you land a fish, unplug the spreader block and fold the arms and lift the fish. Best landing net that I have ever owned for simplicity despite being a bit heavy.
I have a Century landing net which I always set up as well for that unexpected double catch at the same time, despite being a lot lighter, its just a pain to pull the arms out of the block so its always my second choice.
Sadly though, doubt you can get hold of them now, I have had mine years, and the block would not fit any other handle, but it is the perfect design, doubt anyone else makes one similar but is probably easy to get one made.
In fact, just looked at the "Top Notch" block and its virtually identical to the JRC one that I mention but the JRC one appears to be easier to use as you do not have to push the landing net handle as well as part the arms to make it fold up. it sounds like a three hand operation. The wedge on the JRC one is hinged to just drop straight down on its own. But if anything happened to my JRC one, I would definitely replace with the "Top Notch" one.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought that, the video wasn't clear, to me anyway. I queried it with Braders, very much a case of slight outward pressure at the base of the arms, push catch with thumb.
I saw the JRC Cocoon when looking round, very similar design.

Ive got an original matrix bulldog net which is still like.new
However it takes me 5 minutes some days to get the arms in the block.
So When I get a fish I grab the net like a sack of spuds
And walk crab like backwards knocking everything over
As I go. I would miss that.

Lol that is pretty much how I found myself and had had enough so 6 years ago decided I needed to sort it. So much easier well worth having a net I can break down easily.

I bought a Gardner Dual Reach based on reviews on the forum, it's still annoying me, don't like the spigot design at all, far too much pressure required on such a small spreader block,. Speaking to Dave at TNT it appears from my measurements that the Trakker EQ has the same arms!
