Looking at one of the Trakker Levelite Transformer Chairs to save taking a separate chair and bedchair buddy...
anyone got any feedback? I am particularly interested in the length of the legs, minimum to maximum and whether they would indeed extend long enough to touch the floor when perched on my SS4....?

Just bought one a couple of weeks ago, as you'd expect from Trakker, it's a really good bit of kit. Nice and lightweight, and comfy. Good for me with a bad back.
Mine's in the boot of the car at the moment, I'll go out a bit later and measure the front legs for you.
Only downside I'd say is the lack of adjustable rear legs, but I'm guessing they've done this to save weight. Not a problem for flat pegs.

I have got it,its very comfy but with the usual trakker stitching quality.The mechanism on the back is terrible too,it jams and sometimes takes an age to get the bars to pop out.I have had mine about three years now so lasted alright by trakkers standards

How long after you had it did the mechanism start jamming? Looks like I've got that issue to look forward to.......

Use your usual chair. In bed mode fold the rear legs under a push a couple of steel rods into the tubing that forms the seat sides to fit across your bedchair and over the far rail.

. . .I've had one for a few months . . being an Ultralite die hard user with a largeish bed means there's not much space and I was taking an original Daiwa Mission Low chair AND a Daiwa Mission bedchair backrest, both of which whilst mega lightweight aren't particularly comfy . . .the Transformer chair has replaced both bits of kit (weight wise probably like for like in total) but means I'm sitting much more comfortably and in bedchair buddy mode throughout the session in poor weather.

Cheers mate, think i will invest....
The Mission one I have is OK but you and up with flat spots on the mattress, taking the weight off with the legs sounds ideal...

Check the stitching after a few uses,mine started to come undone around the frame at the front.It happened on both sides but it does not seem to have gotten any worse since

I've had mine since they came out... personally think they are the b****x!!
Dont think I could fish without it now, comfort wise even 3 year on its still great!!
Aqua have bought one out with a reclining function and a moveable head rest - might be worth looking at, but it is £30 more I think!!

I've had like for a couple years now and I have no problem with stitching or the back jamming, I have 2 one for my mrs aswell and hers is fine still aswell no problems at all with them mate. I bought a Trakker levelite long back recliner for my longer 4/5 day sessions but the transformer is brilliant for anything upto 72 hrs for me

I've only had mine for around 18 months also had no problems at all with mine, i find it a very comfy practical chair

I've had one for a couple of years now. Very light and quite comfortable. Yes the mechanism that locks the back legs In place can stick a bit but it's not too bad. If I'm using it on its own for day sessions I tend to leave the back legs folded away and it gives you a nice reclined position. No problems with the stitching yet.

I used to own a Trakker Levelite Longback Chair
and it was superbly comfortable but fishing the slopping river banks twice the bloody thing folded up on me
because of the glaring fault !!!! >>>> the legs dont have a spring locking pin ???? like the JRC chairs what a shyte design

Can honestly say I had that chair for years before the new one came out I never had that happen to me even once, I've now given it to my dad who fishes with me a lot and it hasn't happened to him either so don't no how it happened to you mate

Maybe he's on a lot more slope than you have been on he's right they should have a locking pin in them then it can't happen as there not the cheapest chair out there

Stitching came undone at the front on mine after a couple of uses, got it exchanged and the same happened again. Swaped it for the combi

Had one,the trakker is far better.Its alot comfier and has not got them utter ***** plastic twist locks on the legs.Now I have given my trakker a spray with wd40 its operating perfectly again
