Where are people getting their GOOD QUALITY foam nuggets at present? I know they're packing nuggets and can be obtained in bulk dirt cheap, I also know that the quality of the nuggets available at present varies considerably. All I want is a decent supply (i.e. ones that actually dissolve in cold water)...I'm even willing to pay the carp tax to get good ones!

I use these, two cubic feet will last a very long time. As good as any ‘carp' nuggets.

i still put one through some mesh.

Have a look at magic maize building noodles for kids. Used to get big bags of them from the local early learning centre really cheap. Can also get them from various other places
Remember someone giving us the heads up on these years and years ago either on here or the old RMC / Cemex forum

I've been using these for many years now and they are by far the best IMHO. Not the cheapest, but they continue to work in very low temperatures.

No mate completely different to all the angling brands I've ever seen.
Look on eBay for Amazing Maize. Like I said, not the cheapest, but the best IMO.

Personally never found a bad one tbh. Lick them just enough to stick and they pop off every time

Same here.
I've bought a load of them from eBay and got a load for free when a large parcel I received came stuffed full of them. Won't buy them from the tackle companies again as they can be gotten hold of much cheaper elsewhere.

Do they work like the usual nuggets? Lick and stick around the hook, cast out and it pops up off the hook? My usual ones are a little hit and miss in winter!

I Ordered some a few days ago , came home today to find I couid barely get in my porch due to the large sack of foam nuggets.....I've got enough to last a fair while now, got to say they look identical to the Gardner foam,I've just tried and tested them and they dissolve/breakdown like the carp branded extoranately priced ones.... 👍🏻 Thanks for the link

I've just looked on eBay and there is ‘amazing maize' and ‘magic maize' . Amazing maize is very brightly coloured whereas the magic maize whilst coloured not as bright . Which one is best as I don't want to end up with a box that's no good, thanks.

I bought off eBay, 1.5 lt of these for around £6 and there's loads of them, they work just fine too 👍

If the water is very cold I'd also be putting them inside some PVA stocking then nicking that on the hook, but up until last week , when water was at 9deg these worked fine .
