Someone posted about lightening the load of tackle we take on another thread.
it inspired me to relearn how to post pics.

i put together a dwarf and light setup so that I can whizz round to my local lake. no loading car or barrow
and walking across the park. I can get to the swim door to door within 10 minutes. Great for dawn and dusk short sessions.

i also bought a trailer to take more kit for longer sessions. i still have the van and bigger kit. but this is getting used more
right now.

love it

the above is the section i lifted from the BB share script of Flickr . had to delete a bunch .


i took out the < and the > in the line above out or it would just show the photo. you need to add them before nd after with no gaps.

you have to add the = sign and stuff before. and width and after .

I use a set on ten quid digital luggage scales these days.

Gone are the days of a big set of reubons.

i agree with that I'm still taking Big ol Ruebs with a pouch and stainless weigh bar untill I can go
smaller and lighter

I've gone back to the reuban flyweight scales generally, with the big set in the motor should the need arise.
I still don't trust the digitals

mate of mine did this years ago before we had cars.
a weeks worth of gear and peddling down the lake.
good times
i pretty much add a cool bag bedchair for an overnight trip.

My dad built a trailer for our bikes so that me and my brother could go with all our gear and he wouldn't have to get up and drive us at dawn at the weekends. That was in the late 70's.
