Will need to re spool soon and I'll probably stick with technium but a friend uses fox Exocet and really rates it. You never hear it recommended on here. Is there a good reason?

Yeah,it's cack.The original exocet I really like but the trans khaki is not very good imo.It fades,coils and does not cast like the original.I prefer esp synchro xt

I have quite a bit of fox gear and only issues ever had is brollies and that line

I much prefer the Soft Steel that Fox do, cheaper also, can't see why as I personally believe it acts so much more user friendly than the Exocet, from experience of using both.
I have got Exocet 16lb on three spare spools, loaded about three years ago. Still going strong and casts like a dream.

A few used it on one of my ponds , not recommended around weed
I'm sure there are better lines
I use Gardner myself , and friends use esp, don't think you need look anywhere else imho

You can't fish that much then, coz if you did use it regularly, you soon come to the realisation that you'd never buy the stuff again...utter, utter garbage line.

I have been using 15lb syncro for several years and went to respool my reels and my local tackle shop (yes trying to support local shop) were waiting for a drennan delivery not due for a couple of days. I picked up the fox Exocet in Khaki in 18lb, I found it casts well (16 wraps with solid bag), had a 35 Saturday that weeded me twice and line stood up to it. Will it replace esp syncro? Time will tell

Used it since it came out in original and Trans khaki in various breaking strains and on some very weedy waters. Never had an issue with lack of abrasion resistance or it not sinking
Looking at these comments it just makes me wonder if how the line is kept and looked after makes an effect on its performance... that's a thought
