Does anyone else have issues with this website twice now I have paid for an episode and it's not allowed me to view it ?
I use PayPal so not sure if it's related to that, paid for one last Friday and I'm still unable to view it ?

Not me but a pal had the same issue. He called elliot who sorted it out and gave him a free episode for the hassle.

What do people think of the new Cypography layout i,e paying a direct debit?
I'm not impressed too be fair I've bought each video I've wanted too watch as there released.

Likewise Yonny I've subbed from the start! I really rate it, some are better than others but on the whole it's good content for essentially reasonable money and quite like the sound of more frequent content and a few new ideas Elliot's talking about going forward.

I know the direct debit isn't a new thing on cypography, even though I've payed per episode I meant the new lay out changing to £7.99 a month and having weekly videos released.
In no means I'm knocking it as I've purchased them from the start and enjoy watching them I'm just wondering if the quality will be jeopardised releasing weekly videos instead of monthly.

It's a good deal for new subscribers, not so for existing subscribers from what I've heard and seen. Have seen a few comments from existing subscribers complaining that they have paid £6 a month for 32? months and yet a new subscriber can just pay £8 and have access to everything they have paid £190 for. Not likely but people could binge all the content in a month and then cancel, wait a year and pay £8 and binge the last 12 months content then cancel
I subscribed for about a year and when I got a new bank card I just didn't bother subscribing again, liked the videos though. Think he should of kept it how it was as that seemed to work ok.
Only a couple of quid a month extra now but charging Netflix money for a few short fishing videos a month 🤷🏻♂️ I wouldn't wish bad on anyone but hope Elliott doesn't shoot himself in the foot with this restructure

I see both sides of the coin though. On the one hand if you've been happy paying the £6 a month up to now and think you've had value for money then that shouldn't change how you feel about how it's changing (could argue you are getting nothing more for the extra £2 a month but hey ho) and makes no difference to you what changes are made
The other side of the coin is why should you get access to all the previous content as a new subscriber? It maybe should of been restructured and any new subscribers could pay x amount for any old vids they wanted to watch. Bit like if you subscribe to one of the mags still available, you don't get boxes full of old back issues do you?
Like I've said I hope it works out for him but have seen a few people feel like their nose has been put out of joint

I don't have any issues with this at all.
Clearly the guys are trying to come up with a pricing model which works for all parties. They are well within their rights to change the pricing model, this is a niche marketplace and there are very few peers within this market, so the business has to experiment a bit before settling on a payment method.
The videos are good, going weekly is a bonus and I think they represent good value.

After emailing phoning and eventually getting my issue sorted with them which took days, I started watching the episode this afternoon got halfway through sorted the kids tea now sat down to watch the second half of it and I can't unless I subscribe !
So what I paid for last week and it wouldnt play, they eventually sort that issue out and now I can't watch it anymore 😤😤😤
Fuming dealt with them 3 times and had issues everytime, it's such a shame because the content is good and his brand etc but they let them selves down with customer service I feel.
Doubt it will make a big difference but I shan't be putting anymore money in there pockets.

I really rate it. It's been nice to watch lots of real content over lockdown and I've even ordered a few items of clothing which is decent quality too. I like for the record alot. Some decent session films too.

was thinking of getting it butsomeone told me theres alot of product placement and plugging etc and its like paying to watch advertising at times even if the storys etc are good,and hes cashing in on both ends

There's no plugging at all that's what I like about it, he does do reviews monthly but over a whole range of stuff.
Streaming only, no option to download.

I messaged him about it kicking off cos I had paid for a lot of the old episodes and it disappeared not all of it is back but it will be

Does anyone know how to watch on a smart TV? I've subscribed but it doesn't allow you to cast the videos to the tv like youtube / netflix etc so not sure how i can watch on the TV. I've emailed them and DM but not heard back?

You need to go to the URL (if you have that option on your TV (most do)) or hook a laptop up with a HDMI buddy.
