Defiant MPS's Trident Panther pod design (Scroll down the page) has been around for coming on 20 years now, but has only really started to be copied in recent years.
If you are looking for a pod of that type/design, then do yourself a favour & buy one from the original designer! Not as cheap as the copies but will out last them & you will be supporting a British company.
After sales is also a LOT better than any of the large companies should you require it. Also, it will be made to your specific measurements within reason should you want to make any changes.

I'm sure I read on here that somebody bought one and it was garbage and went straight back.
I agree with post #2, put a bit more cash in and buy the proper one from Keith, it will last forever rather than a couple of seasons before falling to bits.

I got one recently.
Same design as my stainless trident from Keith
Not used it yet so can't tell you what it's like on the bank but had allay around with it in the garage and all seems fine.

It's a bit sad that people are trashing the Wychwood. My Gardner Pod which I had 32 years ago lasted me 20 years before I gave it away. The Wychwood would have to be extremely poorly made to fall apart within a couple of years.

From what I've heard it is. Your Gardner from 32 years ago would have been different class quality wise than a pod sold for less than £100 now. It's also a complete rip off of a design from a well respected contributor on here, what is there to like about it?

I hope the Gardner pod that you speak off wasn't the square thing with bars for legs that went through in a cross that kept falling over are you?

Had one and it was horrendous. The parts where the uprights go are not glued and pinned but just pinned so my three uprights were wobbly. I sent photos to Wychwood asking for a replacement parts but was met with they don't stock them so would need to return the whole pod to where I bought it and buy a replacement.
