What bag do you currently use.
What's your budget.
Do you want all year round use.
Fleece lined ? Etc.

Did have a fox ventec bag, yes all year round use and would prefer not fleece lined. Budget about £150. Thanks

I had similar criteria to you and settled on the Gardner carp duvet compact. Only opened it in the house due to lockdown, but looks ideal.

Great bag

Bought a gardner carp duvet plus a month ago and its a brilliant bag, much prefer it to my fleece lined ventec i had before it.

To those that have recommended the Gardener Carp Duvet.
I'm thinking of getting this bag.
Should I I get the plus or the compact for a standard Nash indulgence? It's the old one with removable mattress. Oh, and I am a portly 18st.

I'm 6'3 and 14 stone and the compact is fine for me on a standard bedchair (about 90 cm wide). I did a bit of research into the difference between the 2 before I bought it last year. If I remember correctly the big difference is in the width, so if you're a long way round the middle maybe the standard would be better. I'm sure the Gardner website will give you the measurements. It's a good bag.

Yep had the gardner bag over a year now...top notch and very warm...standard bag is on the big side...

Looking on the Gardner site it states it has a strap in the middle of the bag to stop it slipping,does the strap go underneath the bed chair and fix via the buckle ?

There YouTube marketing says it has a strap in the middle.

I only got the plus because i have a solar sp wide bed and the plus is the same widtg as the bed so fits perfectly. Its like sleeping on my kingsize bed at home, theres stacks of room. Just get the compact if you have a standard size bed.

I have exactly the same set-up and its epic!!

The solar sp beds are in a league of there own, best bed out there by a long way.

After using mine for a couple of seasons now, I wouldn't change my Fortis Techlite G2 for anything else out there on the angling market! Took this for me to finally retire my almost 30yr old Nash Frostbite 5 (the one with the Velcro in down filled “duvet” section & supplied in the rectangular zipped bag). Never thought I would find another bag anywhere near as good as the Nash one! Yes I have tried a lot of the bags in the time I have owned the Frostbite 5 & got rid of them after finding they were not as good IMHO until I tried the Techlite G2. even sleep systems, I ended up removing them from the bedchairs & using the Nash bag instead! In the winter I simply use an Aqua Aquatexx cover as well for an additional layer.

Can't argue about the quality of the materials used on this bedchair. It's light-years ahead of anything else, sadly for me I've just found it too firm and hard, can't help but think if they'd put a memory foam mattress on these it would have been the Holly grail of bedchairs.
