After doing a bit of window shopping for a new bivvy I came across the Sonik Axs and after watching the carpology video it looks good but does anyone have one and do they rate them? They seem a good price point considering they are similar to a Nash Titan but a lot cheaper.

First impressions :- 3

Straight out the box, the bag it comes in looks and feels like cheap IKEA carry bag material.
Not really durable, like my old Chub Vizor bag, which was tough as old boots. Looks like it could rip at any moment, but time will tell.
The ground sheet is LIGHT WEIGHT, with below standard clips, that could easily break, if put under pressure.
Would definately have preferred velcro instead. 2
Quality wise, the material is very flimsy, compared to my old Chub Vizor Aquatex material, but only time will tell.
Looking out through the material, from the inside, it has odd lighter shades of speckled dots. So 2
Easy fast setup and pack down get 5
Quality of poles from first glance, get 3
Stitching on the inside isn´t the best of quality. 3
Stormpoles are solid 4
Had it up in hectic storm conditions, and it took a beating from gale force winds. 5
The central hub isn´t the best of quality, but time will tell. Will actually reinforce the peak poles that slot into the central hub, with some aluminium pipe to strengthen it and increase durability.
Overall, you get what you pay for ... rebranded chinese mass produced quality.

Only moan I have is groundsheet is not heavy-duty... I have holes in mine already. But I do have swims that have pea gravel having said that I emailed sonik and there going to replace it
The bivvy is great in all fairness easy to put up
I also find that water does not run off it. Had rain yesterday but the bivvy has not dried off even after 15 hours of no rain and windy conditions

Has anyone worked out how to pack it away properly, had the hide before and that folded in half so easy. Find myself just cramming the axs into the bag differently every time.

I break each pole in half, then half fold it. Once all poles are sat at 90 degrees, I fold them all together. Not had a problem packing it away whatsoever.
My groundsheet is definitely HD, no different to the V2 tempest brolly I had before.
Poles are slightly thinner than the V2 but it's sturdier with stormpoles in imo.

I have emailed them a few times always got back to me within 24h The new groundsheets are in on the 30th. So will be on to them with a reminder

I have the shelter and zip in front and love it
Didn't get the groundsheet as I have a couple of old trakker ones I have now got one made up for the same price from custom camo 👍👍
For the money it cant really be beaten

I've been pleased with mine, it's made my wychwood mhr brolly and old chub cyfish lite bivvy redundant,
Without the front its nearly as quick to set up as the brolly while offering far better coverage and protection.
Haven't used the ground sheet but it seems more medium duty like the wychwood brolly one rather than the heavy duty rubber of the chub cyfish.
Its quite shallow in depth but with the flat back you can make the most of the space, it's a great height inbetween a std tempest brolly and the 100t.
The material seem good nice and dark, it doesn't bead water but after a few months neither did the wychwood or chub and I don't fancy spraying it with fabsil.
It's only been used on about 6 overnighters including non stop heavy rain, all watertight but to early to tell if it will stand the test of time but great so far.

Sonik is also bringing out a 2 man version.
Seems like the 2 man is a quick erect with a built in utility front. It looks massive.
And there will be also a 1 man camo.'
