What's your opinions on these reels lads? Think they look the absolute dogs!! For the price aswell I don't think you can go wrong personally..

I personally love daiwa reels tried these for two months and have to agree prefer the penns so much so that i moved the daiwas on.

Haven't used these reels but had the 35 scw's. the one thing that really annoyed me ( apart from infinite anti reverse ) was the line guard. Sitting under the spool with the arms going up the sides of the rotor is useless imo. If your over head casting then no problem but under arm casting in the edge they did my head in with the line going under the spool if you couldn't quite trap it in time.

In holland they cost 139.- euros which is: 139.95*0.92= 128.75 GBP

Looking past the penns and buying them, yes you can go wrong! If I hadn't made a cock up when ordering my custom rods I'd have kept my penns but unfortunately I spec'd the wrong reel seats meaning the penns wouldn't fit. So I now have these daiwa. Nice reels yes, as good as the penns not a chance

A friend has them they are absolutely amazing value for money. I am actually considering selling my Technium 10000XTA and getting a set and pocketing some coin in my opinion they are that good.

Yep clearly wasnt the gold versions.....

£160 plus a pop standard

Cheaper in Europe when the rate was better but not so much now

I just bought one Kent Tackle ( https://www.kenttackle.com/ ) for £169.99p with free & fast postage.

Its good to keep the smaller shops some custom to keep them going.
Down with Angling direct...............

Edit... I just looked and I bought the last one. But check out the sale section on there, plenty of decent deals.

Many Shops in the Netherlands do them for that price (139,95€), most/some do free delivery.
Stocks are running out, as Daiwa don't restock them at the moment.
Have ordered three last week, but from two place's as the stocks are running out.

I have 3...got spare spools incl..( 1 deep & 1 shallow)
and indeed, no stock left...

These are only a few euro's expensiver..and bought from them before..
