Spent lastnight sleeping or not much with a metal bar from my bedchair digging in to my ribs, I had a quick go at pulling it from the knot in the end and it doesn't seem there is much give tbh.
It's done in 3 sections head mills and bottom.
Do I need to undo it all and re thread it through the loops?
Looks a pita do do that but I won't be sleeping on it again till it's sorted
I seem to remember have read bad things about re doing it with paracord?

Yep use paracord instead of elastic, makes a huge difference. You can buy it on ebay for a couple of quid

Just done my Fox flatliner, flared about an inch of paracord and taped it to the elastic, then just pull it through, coupled with a SIM, its made a huge difference

I've just tightened up my trakker ELS which already has the parachord in the middle section. I turned it upside down so cover directly onto floor then I inserted cable ties every third loop and pulled tight.
This made it so much easier to tighten the parachord and the elastic which I did using pliers to get a firm grip. Hopefully it will feel like new next time I use it.
Also if you dont want to go down the parachord route, using cable ties on every loop along the mid and part of the head section will give you the same effect very quickly. Did that on my old bedchair and it worked a treat.

You might struggle with 9mm on your levelite the holes in the steel part on the folding section are only 8mm, i bought 9mm for my levelite and it wouldn't fit so ordered 7mm which worked fine

Paracord is a good option but dont pull it too tight or it'll be like sleeping on a snooker table.

I might have to do mine, I did put three rows of webbing under the middle section but it's not great.
Did you totally remove the elastic and replace with paracord?
The material on mine sags quite a bit, waiting for the seams to go!

Good quality 4mm para cord has a breaking strain of
250 kg/500lb approx so multiple strands in a bed chair should support an elephant. The bed will disintegrate before the cord snaps. I shouldn't worry.
