Fair enough, not been to either and probably never will, well almost certainly won't based on your summary! Must admit that my impression of Todber is similar in that there are a lot of pegs on very modestly sized waters, fished there years ago and not gone back for that reason.

Plantation and Bullock farm are brown holes in the ground with swims on top of each other, much more geared towards a commercial fishery.

If you dont mind going a little further have a look at Coking or Todber. You've also got Islands fshery in Wiltshire, think they have a lake exclusive.

Seymour lake is a lovely little lake for an exclusive. Took my son there and we caught a few lovely carp and some huge rudd (including losing the fish of a lifetime at the net which I'm still upset at myself for messing up). It is small and intimate and I would say 3 is the absolute most to go on there. Another to look at is Barn Pool at Whelford in the Cotswolds (opposite direction from Bristol but not too far), not been myself yet but one for me to try with my son at some point. You've also got Plantation, Acorn and Bullocks Farm all day ticket waters near Clevedon, of those I've only fished Acorn which is fine

Fished festival fishery near Glastonbury a few years back, we had it on an exclusive so don’t know when it’s like normally but seemed well run and some decent fish. Think they have another lake nearby as well

Hi All, can someone point me in the right direction for some decent fisheries around Bristol, Glastonbury, Bridgend, Weston-super-Mare area.

Looking for either a lake exclusive type venue for 2/3 people or some day tickets that are well run and don't have pegs every 5yards

Fish wise doesn't have to contain monsters but a nice mid double average size and a good head.of 20s would be ideal. Anything bigger would be a bonus
