I only just got around to measuring this evening. 922mm between racking...so it might just work with the help of some KY jelly

Thanks for the measurement, I’ll go have a measure up when I finish work later.
Is it 900mm outside width (so including the width of both wheels?)

That's pretty cool! Good job mate, well thought out too.. It looks like the shimano barrow would probably be too wide, it's approx 900mm at the wheels!

To recipricate in this "you show me yours..." exchange here's the pics of the van racking...and the unknown/potential squeeze to fit the Shimano in!
Also, I'd have to purchase another motorbike ramp for the other wheel!

Nice!
I like the car seat belt usage at the front, I guess the metal bar had to be replaced?
I wonder how much weight it would save to swap out all bars for belts...

Since posting on this thread I’ve gone and fitted racking in the back of the van and one side is quite wide...so not sure if the Shimano barrow will even fit in anymore...width restrictions...

Karlos, sorry for taking some time..

Attached 'pimped' (fixed!) images..

Plenty of space for loads of gear if needed, bedchair goes on the front of course..

I’ve had my shimano barrow a year now. It’s been brilliant so far. It was a bargain at £99.

I'd be interested to see the new 'pimped' barrow Winkler.

I was considering getting the barrow myself, mainly for the way you can stack the bags in it and potentially fish off the barrow...but...if the build quality is poor then it's a no go :(

Maybe a new one will appear as the first one was a disaster, all the wheels fell off as the bearings fell apart and were so sloppy it was difficult to push along, too much resistance. Cost me £200 to re-design mine and get new wheels/ axle, support assembly made, should be in use this week for the first time since it collapsed early spring. Lucky I
had a spare..

Stick with companies that actually make barrows. As said, the shimano ones got very poor reviews
