Sounds like Josh Taylor has vacated the WBC belt to stop a mandatory defence so he can have a rematch with Jack Catterall, that has the potential to be a great fight if it happens

Serge Ambomo. Now there’s a menace if ever i saw one. Nathan got tagged by him once and says it’s the hardest he’s ever being hit.

Nathan has had to pull out as he’s damaged his shoulder during training. SCFC have been looking after him in the hope he could make the fight but was unfortunately deemed medically unfit.

Hoping obviously that it isn’t serious at all. I’ve wished him all my best and not messaged him thereafter as he’s totally devastated.

Edit - He’s refunded all those (650) followers who had purchased tickets including my own and a few mates of mine who we were going hire a car with.

I’m surprised to get a refund in all honesty considering its a show and a chance that you take. Mind you though probably wouldn’t be the best plan to 9155 off 650 people….

Do not forget the fight tonight (from 7pm on sport sports main event) between river wilson bent and Tyler Denny for the English middleweight title as it promises to be a belter.

On another note i cant say what but i’m absolutely devastated for a good mate of mine. Will become Known shortly but fair to say i’m well n truly gutted.

I honestly don't think he would,Usyk is too skillful for him and has great movement. As Scozza says AJ has to put it on him and catch him in the early rounds,I just don't see it happening though

Soooooo many good fights Gerry, I would look at eras

Duran, Leonard, Haggler and Hearns, some belters here

Benn and Eubanks fights

Iron Mike, awesome!

Ali, some absolute classics, brutally long rounds and rope a dope with Foreman, what a fight!

Mayweather masterclass

Packman, what a performer he has been, the Della Hoya beating is a classic for me

Gatti and Ward is a classic

Right back, Lamotto, Robinson and more, all on the tube

Edit - off to watch. Ali and Foreman now

If AJ is going to win this he has to get Usyk out of there in 5 or 6 for me. Usyk is a completely different boxer to Ruiz so that pokey long jab he used in that rematch win to keep him off will not work in this one, Usyk can box! He has to blow Usyk out of there, put it on him, which could make it an interesting one otherwise he gets his ears boxed off again in the later rounds

If it goes passed 6 i wouldn’t be surprised if Usyk puts his lights out in 8, I remember he rocked him last time and felt he could have finished it and eased off. Could actually turn out to be a cracker for the fans

You make good sense I know, I have always put too much emphasis on size as the wife tells me regular lol. An angry busy aj in a 3 round fight would he win then?

I dont see AJ winning the rematch,he can't box.He has no movement,no defence and Usyk has too much for him in every department.AJ should use his size and power but let's not forget Usyk was the one that finished the first fight stronger and nearly finished AJ
