In reply to Post #516 So disappointing as a fight fan, just make them happen, everybody wants to see them
Whyte will get his head boxed off if he fights Fury and sparked if he fights Wilder, the best option for a title is AJ imho

In reply to Post #515 That's just it, the wbc are the worst! Whyte has been number 1 contender on the wbc for nearly 600 days now and he's still not been made mandatory for wilder. Somehow they made brezeale mandatory even though he was below whyte. Waiting nearly 2 years and still not being named mandatory is a massive piss take

In reply to Post #514 Time will tell mate
The WBC are good for making mandatory defences
Shame the IBF, WBA and WBO are not and make that bum Joshua have some real fights, ****

In reply to Post #513 No you are right, it was martinez that rematch Ed and beat salido. My mistake.
He won't be beaten by anyone lower than welterweight, that I garauntee. He's just too slick.
Back to the big lads, I see the wbc have just ordered whyte v fury

In reply to Post #512 He has fought nobody outstanding as yet
And fights do come into it BIG time, different styles to contend with and as the levels rise so does the quality of the opposition!
He is beatable, you heard it from me first
And he did not fight Salido again

In reply to Post #511 He lost against a world champion in his second pro fight(and the n avenged the loss) Yeah he probably stayed amateur too long so may never get the 30-40 fights many do, but does that really tarnish his record? Nah. If he'd have won a single world title and that's it then I might agree with you to a point, but a 3 weight champ, who will be unified after his next fight in only 13fights or whatever it is has to be up there with the best imo. Nobody has even looked close to beating him since that loss, and can't see who will have a chance really unless he moves up weight classes too quickly

In reply to Post #510 And he lost to a fighter well passed his best, nuff said for me
After Spence, was not exactly a draining fight for him. Time will tell, it has to happen
If he had the numbers game (40 plus pro fights) and fought some good fighters and had the wins he would be a hall of famer, one of the greats for me, he has not had the fights and never will be, he will always be a could have been in my eyes
A boxing purists press boy dream

In reply to Post #509 Yeah he's had very few fights, but he's a 3weight world champ already so he can't be that bad... Garcia? No way on earth mate, he won't be the same fighter again after spence, Mark my words..

In reply to Post #507 He has fought **** all, what is it 12 or 13 fights ffs
Garcia sparks him out

In reply to Post #505 Lomachenko for me love watching his fights his movement and shot selection is amazing oh and never been done for eating a dodgy steak

|

Watched it again, styles make fights, Jacobs couldn’t unload, Canelo, superb movement, hard single shots on Jacobs and slipped the punches. Best fighter on the planet imho. Tactically brilliant again
