In reply to Post #1149 Thats a very good card , scott is a lad i know personally , fowler was thought of as a world beater but fell like a lead balloon , yep i shall enjoy that .Apart from of course Hughie green !!!

Some decent fights on Sky this weekend fight fans:
Scott Quigg vs Jono Carroll (Super-Featherweight)
Hughie Fury vs Pavel Sour (Heavyweight)
Anthony Fowler vs Jack Flatley (Super-Welterweight)
Zach Parker vs Rohan Murdock (Super-Middleweight)
I have watched Caroll a few times, proper little tough man who gives it 100%. Always entertaining
Fowler has fallen from stardom, was highly rated, he has to make a statement?

In reply to Post #1147 Wilder would put Whyte out of there with no trouble at all. I hope it happens, I wouldn’t want him to get seriously hurt though
A mandatory, he is not, your right. Not hand picked like most of the others
I do have a problem with the peoples champ, the poster boy of British boxing and as a fight fan it really pisses me off, because the truth is he ain’t the fighter he is made out to be but he sits on the belts. I hope he gets them took off him again soon. Long live the real king
He could turn out to be the 6th best in the world because, Fury, Wilder beat him, Pulev could, Wallin could and I wouldn’t be surprised if a washed out Ortiz could
He can’t box for toffee, he’s like a poor mans Wilder for me. His rematch against Ruiz was an extremely poor show

In reply to Post #1146 Whyte moves forward though, and windmill cant deal with that. How can pulev be another hearn line up as you call it? He's mandatory, and has been a while. Fight him or give up a belt, those are the choices. You can hardly blame hearn for that!

In reply to Post #1144 Whyte beat Wilder, PMSL.
Wilder is not a great boxer, I agree, Whyte moves like he has his feet nailed to the floor in comparison. Easy target, Bomb squad

In reply to Post #1144 I take little interest in Joshua for me. I didn’t know it was a mandatory either, nor do I care. It’s another Hearn line up, nuff said for me.
Says a LOT really to say I’m a massive boxing fan
On another note, it could set up for an end of year showdown with the winner of Fury vs. Wilder 3. But that won’t happn will it, because he’s nailed on to lose...

In reply to Post #1143 So why call him a bum, and say aj should be fighting his mandatory (which he is )?
He's a decent fighter who could cause aj some issues. Wilder isn't actually a good boxer in the slightest, literally his only attribute is his power. After the beating fury gave him it will be interesting to see if he can bounce back, or whether he will end up like Jeff lacy or Lucian bute after their respective beatings. After his last fight I honestly believe dillian whyte might just have the beating of him too
Speaking of whyte, just been announced he's fighting povetkin beginning of May

In reply to Post #1140 I am aware of this and his record. I am also aware he has a knock out punch. I am also aware he is 38 but for a heavyweight this is not so much of an issue. Even though I am not a Joshua fan I would say he is a level above Pulev. Definitely not a fight I am interested seeing myself
There are two decent heavyweights and one who claims to be. These are the ones I want to see. Like I said earlier, he might fight Wilder when he’s 50, my money would still be on Wilder
I don’t think there’s an heavyweight about who wouldn’t fancy a fight with Joshua, he has been rocked many times

Pulev is actually a very good boxer , i think he only has 1 loss on his record to klitschko so he is no mug .
Sorry did,nt see your post Ian !!

The inquest of Nathan’s father was published in the evening sentinel. As far as I’m aware Nathan wasn’t aware of the contents of the article and has since ‘as recently as yesterday’ spoke about his fathers passing.
In short Nathan’s father had taken his own life and in the hope that should anyone feel alone then to talk about it and seek help.
I do not know how to do links but I do know that it’s on Stoke on Trent live should anyone be able to find/post the link and hopefully if it strikes a cord with just one person then to that person it may help to transform their life.
Truly heartbreaking.
A day after Nathan’s father passing this was when he was informed he’d be challenging for the Midlands middleweight title.
Love ya Nathan mate and so so proud of you.
Xx

In reply to Post #1139 Pulev is a mandatory, and has only lost once against wlad so hardly a bum... He certainly won't be beaten before he gets into the ring and could cause an upset

In reply to Post #1136 Just seen it. Another bum, no surprise there
Still Pulev could spark him. Should have made him fight Wallin minimum.
About time they made them do mandatory defences. Hearn has it sewn up the ****
