Wow, I’m absolutely buzzing by the news that Nathan Heaney has been signed up by Frank Warren (Queensberry promotions) and BT sports.
His late father will be absolutely delighted as he’s always said that one day Frank Warren will sign his son up and the hard work he’s put in to achieve that will now become even harder.
Well done Nathan, really really happy for you and for all those who’ve put in the hard work behind the scenes too and his trainer Steve Woodvine is also an amazing gentlemen.
Onwards and upwards from here on in hopefully and above all else remain safe.

In reply to Post #1194 Monster of a man
And then there was his comeback at a ripe old age!
This is not a knock at all either but what a fight with Ali and how it unfolded, tactically it has to be up there with one of, if not the best of all time, sensational and truly amazing. George was going to knock him through the ropes
What a sport!

British middleweight ranking now have Nathan at 14 and just outside the top 100 in the world.
Announcement soon as his next challenge and obviously when boxing has being given the all clear to re-commence.
Onwards and upwards hopefully.

In reply to Post #1189 I found the Eubank one very good, different side to the man
How do you want to be remembered he was asked?, after a long thought, as the man who got up through a beating and carried on, Heart of a lion that man, proper tuff and powerful man, simply the best
I was a massive Benn fan at the time, used to put it all on the line, every time, war, brilliant
Interesting that both Benn and Eubank said Watson was the best by a mile in every department
