In reply to Post #1589 Nice one
Interesting fight, brilliant shot by Campbell in the 3rd was it, could have ended embarrassing that
Looks good Garcia. Not sure about the planted feet, looking to land the powerful shots, and he got hit a lot for me. Needs to up his game, there is some proper talent in that division
For me Davis tops the lot but it’s VERY close, some good fights on there way though

In reply to Post #1586 yes I though Garcia would be too much for him and as you say he has everything going for him and now he will of learnt a lot after that scrap and he can improve

In reply to Post #1583 Exactly that Gerry, he quit. Turn your back in a fight and it’s over. I thought Pulev was close to getting it stopped in the Joshua fight, he turned his back and walked away in one of the rounds!

In reply to Post #1579 I thought he turned his back on him when he realised his best just wasnt knocking him down and he wasnt going to win and he was blowing and out of steam and getting beaten up
his trainer said he wouldnt do the gym work and it showed

In reply to Post #1581 Agree, Campbell is a very good, experienced and talented boxer. Could turn out to be a very good fight!
I hope Campbell wins

In reply to Post #1580 Im hoping its the opposite Gerry,i think garcia may have bitten off more than he can chew , campbell is an olympic gold medalist , garcia has,nt faced a fighter as good as campbell , if it was in this country i would put a wad on campbell but in america who knows !

In reply to Post #1578 Seen that fight Jeff where he turns his back on him. You can’t help think his mental scars held him back and messed him up, sad really
Bit of a rebel in the area that was for sure. Ruled by the fist and not to be messed with, from a fighting perspective, I respect that

In reply to Post #1577 Met him a couple of times , a bloody lunatic , much better fighter out of the ring than in. That was world in action programme i think , Still holds the record of fighting for a title after only 8 pro fights, turned his back in that against john l gardner.True hard man who feared no one, his son is a lifer infact both his sons i think. There is a film being made about him due for release next year.

A few people discussed Paul Sykes a while ago. I was watching some boxing and came across this, thought I would share it
Paul Sykes
Sad story really, misspent youth and upbringing sadly. There are a few chapters
