its not that I cant afford it, its on principle, I will quite happily pay the money for decent gear if I think the value is there....withba 1800 porter and 900 rs bivvy I dont think you are getting value for money....on principle im not buying a rs tempest..im using a v2 tempest brolly still and cant justify what you get for the money is that much better than what I have....while people.pay it they'll keep upping the price. I remeber about 5 years ago nash started soing hoodys for 60 quid testing the water, they flew out,now their hoody can be up and around 90 quid

You can spend £4K on a golf trolley, £10K on a surf board, £15K on a mountain bike…

There is? If you can’t afford a Tempest RS there are plenty of options from the likes of Sonik and Pro Logic. If you can’t afford the newest Power Porter you have options to convert a standard barrow or just push it yourself.
There is tons of low cost, decent quality gear available. You can probably get better quality fishing equipment for a lower relative cost than at any time in the past. Every industry has equipment available that is out of some people’s reach, I’m not sure why it causes such incredulity on this forum.

The only thing that will change it, is if we stop buying it. It really is that simple.
I guess nobody wants to go back to sitting up all night under a 45" brolly like we used to when i were a lad.
