In reply to Post #1756 Molina been around a long time , I remember him fighting julio cesar chavez jr and that was yonks ago he definately won that but it was given a draw , god knows how old he is ? He was as tough as they come but this must be one of his last fights so if eggington does,nt beat him he really has nowhere to go.

Understood, and guess it does seem a strange one.

In reply to Post #1753 Fury has a following due to his gypsy roots but more notably due to his "celebrity "status . I have a relationship with liverpool, manchester , northern gyms etc and if a fighter from the gym was on a bill for a start all the lads in the gym would want tickets then obviously the fighters family and mates would want them, in the case of ricky hatton he would of sold out any arena but if there were only 1000 tickets then he obviously would only get a small percentage so it does,nt really matter how much a following they have . The only thing i can say is that no other fighter on this card must want tickets which i find strange.
I do know Nathan heaney has a large following as stoke is not that far away from the clubs i know and i still have lots of contacts in the clubs who keep me updated .

In reply to Post #1752 I knew that you weren’t having a go and never crossed my mind...
Definitely have being sold and could have sold them 3-4 times over....
Never really knew joe that well but Nathan speaks highly of him and on the odd occasion when I did too then I could see why. Tragic what happened to him and just before his son had fought Tom Stokes for the midlands title too. Nathan is a great down to earth humble lad and follows Stoke City which has no doubt helped swell his supporters. Hardcore supporters I’d say there are around 100 ‘could possibly be more’ and touch wood we never get to find out.
Out of interest and I genuinely don’t know but how many supporters does Dubois and Fury have?. I wouldn’t say a great deal considering Nathan’s allocation was over 50%....Probably wrong, as I often am...

In reply to Post #1751 Im not having a go at you , I just find it hard to believe the allocation of tickets , if he says he sold that amount of tickets then he sold them , as i have said before i crossed paths with his dad joe many times when i boxed as an amateur and he was a decent bloke, i have no doubt his son is the same.

In reply to Post #1750 May well be that he isn’t good enough to which I’ve never claimed he is. Thought I’d post on here about him as he’s a mate of mine and if he isn’t good enough then so be it, not the end of the world but the following he has is helping him live the dream.
As for not believing he was allocated what he has ‘never mind sold them all which will be noticeable on tv’ I find that even more surprising.

In reply to Post #1749 I cant believe that with a crowd of only 1000 he would be allocated that amount when dubois is the headline bout followed by tommy fury ? I have been in and around the game long enough to know he is,nt good enough to test eubank jr and at his age he wont improve much but i wish him well

In reply to Post #1748 What’s the issue regards selling tickets?. I only know what Nathan sold which was all of what he was allocated. Regards Eubank it may or may not be beyond him but we’ll see.

In reply to Post #1747 So dubois sold none ? Im not surprised he sold that amount at the kings hall its his local, Fury has a big following that i know of ? Wow you are being extremely ambitious saying bring on eubank jr ! I think you are getting a bit too carried away regarding that one.

In reply to Post #1746 Got a large following. He sold 800 out of a 1000 at the kings hall.
Sold 530 tickets and hundreds were asking to go on a list in case he was given anymore.
Tommy Fury got an higher profile but never going sell as many as Nathan so I’d fail to see the logic in giving that amount to Tommy.
Edit - He’s on Facebook under Nathan Hitman Heaney....All there how many sold and how many asked to go on any list. There’s more on the list for tickets than Tommy was given.
I guess if you’re a ticket seller you’ll be given them providing of course the main attractions have had what they feel they could sell.
Ps....If available would have sold 2000. Bring on Eubank Jr at the bet365 stadium....
On the night........DO NOT ADJUST YOUR TV SET.......as it’s gonna be loud n off the scale.....Delilah.
Hope that he comes out on top obviously, but as always above all else hope all boxers remain safe and healthy.

In reply to Post #1743 How did he get 530 tickets if only 1000 capacity ? Tommy fury fighting on that card he much higher profile and he only got 75 tickets.

Us too mate, us too as he’s certainly capable of it. Needs to stick to that fantastic jab of his and box. Likes to mix it up but best behind that jab.

In reply to Post #1743 I SAW this he is on the Daniel Dubois vs Bogdan Dinu undercard should be a good watch hope he does better than his last fight

Nathan’s allocation of 530 tickets sold within an hour ‘edit - sorry meant day’. Few hundred more requesting tickets in which Nathan hoping he’ll be given to sell them too.
Going to be a mental evening providing Covid doesn’t shut stuff down again.
