Jaguar Land Rover staff received a 12.3% negotiated rise in September.
The firm I currently work for agreed a negotiated 8% rise in August. 10% increase in bonus payments and have brought forward 2023 payrise to January with a 6% rise.
They'll keep their highly trained staff and be stronger going forward than the zombie firms some of the cap doffers on here work for.

JLR have been laying off folk for years due to flagging US sales.
They have jumped back on the EV bandwagon after cancelling plans in 2021

The EV bubble is busting due to cost of vehicles and high consumer energy costs.
Coupled with dropping consumer demand.
My German prestige hybrid cost 25% more than the petrol variant and with the weight of the batteries is like driving with two large chaps permanently in situ.. and a tiny fuel tank so I have to fill up even more..
All the wage increases means is they will sooner have to trim rather than later.
Anyone whom works in the automotive sector is in for a bumpy ride...
