Great club player and finisher but has not got the pace we need, needs the ball to his feet or a cross and he will finish. Can't say i am a big Foden fan but at least he can shift a bit, same for Sterling, can't say I'm his biggest fan either but I would like to see those too given a free role to just run and terrorise defences, has to be a second half or last 20 minute option surely. The changes yesterday did virtually nothing!
As I said though, America just get everybody behind the ball quickly making it difficult to score. Tactically wrong from Southgate for me, saying that they seemed happy with the draw.

That's the big problem i have with a striker being Captain makes him sort of undroppable always prefer a defender. Even when Southgate made the subs it didn't change anything he is tactically inept.

Looks to me like Kane is playing with an injury, definitely not the player he was a year ago. Not really been the same since the City move fell through.

Southgate is useless,this build from the back slow play does not work as we have no clue how to break teams down.We have got pace in that team with Sterling,Saka and Walker we also have creative players with Foden,Bellingham,Grealish and Mount.We should be flying at teams like USA and keep them chasing the ball to create space for Kane to run into and do what he does best.Mbappe is the best player in the tournament so far for me and he is only 23,its scary how good his movement and decision making is at such a young age
