I have also had the cold many are talking bout. Felt bloody awful. First time in 21 years of working that I went home early on two consecutive days due to having nothing left in the tank. Took two weeks to disappear. A constant headache that moved around my head but what was really odd was that I had tooth ache in every tooth! This sounds weird but it was a relief to floss??? Nasty bug that one was.
Went to my little girls football yesterday and a family was there that had just came out of isolation from covid and during the whole thing their lat flow tests came up negative yet all but one came up positive from a PCR. We have no chance of getting on top of this.

Being 6 years behind you must've helped, I'm feeling a bit better. Worked every day and some evenings.
Helped not taking a test, every time my missus takes a pregnancy test it's bloody positive so I avoid any testing if I can, always costs me money one way or another.

Sorry Wayne I thought you'd said previously that you'd already had it a couple of times.
Main thing is you and Jon are getting better now. I don't believe in coincidences. It's no coincidence that two people from this forum who have little respect for the virus & will not get vaccinated are currently both quite ill with Covid.
That exact scenario is being born out by my son and daughter in law's experiences at work as paramedics too. Same as before, so many patients needing to be hospitalised, who will not get a vaccine & consequently have little respect for the virus.
It's not about right or wrong. I like both you and Jon and would not want to see either of you very seriously sick. The next two months are looking more & more likely to be quite challenging regarding the virus. Whatever our positions, we need to hope for humanity's sake that this does not go the wrong way. Because it's not going anywhere and still mutating for the worse.
Mother Nature wants to wipe out a vast proportion of us. That's why the virus is here. To be fair Mother Nature is right... But that does not sit well if we all start losing our nearest & dearest does it?

I'm not sick Mark. Far from it, I've been hard at it as usual..
I'm just sick of having a big jar of weed I can't taste
I interact with 00s of people and even the ones who've had covid have not been hospitalised, most didn't even know they had it.

My glass is half empty you think Jon? I'm in paradise with the most beautiful woman imaginable, been here five weeks. My work is better than it has ever been... My glass is overflowing. I need a second glass to catch the overflow.
I've never had the virus. Neither has any of my immediate family. Just one nephew.
You can keep banging on about how you think it's nothing... Until it mutates badly and kills large swathes of us. People who don't care are making that far more likely to happen. And that's a fact.

Mark, I was ill similar to this in March last year when Covid wasn't about in the UK we were told.....no testing then so who knows?
I'm sticking to my Antibodies doing there job Mark, yes I feel like **** although much better than yesterday and would have possibly felt a little better if jabbed but we will never know.......same as jabbed people not knowing if they would have been fine without a jab I suppose.......

You'll be back freezing your jacobs off in south London soon enough mate, I've been to Brazil (for 16 weeks) and it's not my idea of paradise and beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder... I won't be offended that you're insinuating all of our partners are dogs lol.
