Picking up your other or someone else's line while playing a fish it happens. The hook on the other rod then finding it's way into the other fishes mouth and taking hold, got to be a million one shot that surely. I'm more inclined to believe that fish has carried on feeding while hooked. They are after all very simple creatures..

If we stayed both on the bank it's almost impossible for the hook to get hold on the fish mouth, but you must think that at one point we were at the opposite side of the carp, I think this could be the moment when the hook is slide down the line.
I think that's a bit odd for a carp to continue to feed when swim fast after get hooked and towing a boat but who knows, everything could be possible.
My mate didn't take the pictures because he didn't feel that as his, if the situation was reversed I'd done the same.
