For me it's the best season of f1 ruined.This season will now be remembered for this and not the racing that has gone before.Max has pushed the limit a few times and got away with it,Hamilton has shown the desire to win is still very much there.I can't wait to see Norris in a better car too

Russell could spring a few surprises, Bottas was poor this season, and didnt help Lewis out af all

Yes Russell is going to be very competitive in the Mercedes,he will be a better team mate to Hamilton.Thats if Hamilton is still in f1 next year 🤔

For next year they need to get rid of the teams being able to speak to masi and the FIA........RB put him under pressure to let that last lap go.......

Should be good next year with the new cars though.......

It was a complete farce. Max has been brilliant this year but Lewis was better on the day. If I was Merc having "invested" christ knows how many millions into that championship I'd be taking it to court too. Such a shame as it's been the best season I can remember. For me, Masi has to resign. Absolutely terrible decision to go halfway with the unlapping rule.

Roll on next year.

I dont think we have heard the last of it,just a shame it has come to this.Max has been very risky this year,even the other drivers have questioned his driving at times.Im not a Hamilton fan really but he has proven many times he is still the best driver on that grid,as you say roll on next year

Max has taken it two steps too far on a few occasions but it does make for exciting viewing. Ironically yesterday's farce had nowt to do with Max or RB or any other driver/team. It was just incompetence on behalf of the FIA.
Next year with the new rules and the budget cap should be awesome but if anyone can **** it up it's the FIA I'm sure

Whatever the final outcome is whether it goes to Max or Lewis I think the 2021 season will be remembered as a sour one no matter how good the racing was.
Masi, for me, proved throughout the season he wasn't the man for the job and for the FIA to let him be in the position to be the centrepiece for the final race was a disaster waiting to happen.
Court cases pending etc, but for me F1 is the biggest loser today

As I understand it Masi has been in this sort of position for years so he knew the rules pretty clearly (supposably) but on this occasion has made a right cock up.

Great season,Hamilton deserved the win and title yesterday but congrats to max 👍👍

As been said this race/season will be remembered for the wrong reasons and fair play to Hamilton yesterday as he could have easily clipped max's wheel when he over took.

I'm surprised Mercedes didn't make bottas plough into a barrier as they got going again.......RB will probably use that kind of tactic next year if they can't put pressure on Massi anymore.......

Masi took over in 2019 when Charlie Whiting died and he would never have let that happen it would have finished behind safety car like it should have been.

Masi should have gone after that farce in Spa.

They should revert to a closed pit lane as soon as the safety car is announced. That would stop drivers at the back of the field from getting a 'free' pit stop for tyres during the deployment.FWIW I am a Hamilton fan, but it was bad luck pure and simple deprived him of the title this year, not Max, not the stewards not Micheal Masi. Move on and beat them all next year. With GR as his wing man, he'll be much stronger. Perez did a great job on Hamilton but without the VSC and then the full SC it would still have counted for naught!

Bad luck, Lewis. Rest, regroup, and come back stronger than ever in 2022.
