After some bait, fed up of rolling my own. Not bothered about price, being 50p cheaper a kg than another company etc. Just want a quality bait with a good reliable range of pop ups and hookbaits. 👍

Another vote for RG Baits, Formula + Arctic Crab. Proper stinky fishmeal with monster crab basically.
Vita-Lac smells like those NICE biscuits to me, defo a hint of coconut in there.
Trent baits SAS Squid is a nice bait too, reminds me of the original Solar Club mix.

Proper Carp Baits have a good range and the quality of the freezer baits is really good quality. I use their Black Seal and it's totally different to anything I've used before.
If you order 10kg it works out at £8.75 per kilo, and over 20kg its £7.35 per kilo, which is pretty good. They used to do free postage over £100 too, but don't know if that's the case anymore.

You could do far worse than choose Active Bait Solutions. With Geoff Bowers in control and prices low and quality high, they have been my #1 choice for freshly rolled bait for well over a decade.

I have used Mainline, CC Moore, Sticky, and many other baits but like the original question (asking for bait recommendations), and when I did my research, tested some baits and spoke to friends and feel have found something I like and don't see changing from I will happy put their name forward for others to look at, because that is their decision.
I appreciate I have made two comments and they are both about bait, and yes I use theirs, but the majority of feeds I look at I don't have anything constructive to add, let alone bi+ch about or sl@g off. always a difficult one when asking bait recommendations, as people choose their bait for many reasons, plus you will get that many different opinions, it can fry ones head further.
i found a company 15 odd years ago and i still use their baits today. One reason, i trust them and their products, actually two, ive caught rather a lot of fish on their baits, so im happy

Lee Moore is the owner and a really nice guy .
Might be worth contacting him and see what he can do for you .

i don't fish anywhere as much as i used too, i'm far too busy with my two business and the spare time i have, i much prefer to spend with my Son. When i do, i don't feel the need to say anything these days.

You will get loads of suggestions and most will be good. Not many bad baits made now they would go bust. Work out how much you use and intend to use as this can effect the cost. I get through around sixty kilos a year plus pellets. I use DNA mix Slk and S7. If I was fishing day ticket waters I would probably swop for the Cell or stickies Krill. Dont rule out Trent Baits especially their shellfish liver.

This was when Mark first released them Rich, but I know he altered things and I think it was only the first couple of batches that had issues so I'm sure they are all great now. A very good product.
In terms of what I use.. I make my own, generally the same bait as my freebies, just hardened with Whey Gel and albumin. I also store them in powder/salts/spices/sugars etc as then (Cork ball pop ups), they last for ever.
I also sometimes use Marks gelatin trick for coatings....don't often get it 100% right, but when I do, the gel will stay on for a good 24 hours, works very well with beef liver powder and fenugreek oleo resin.

Every chance it's been put it as a leakage aid, shrimp shell meal is a valid ingredient in its own right if you dig a bit deeper. I wouldn't lie about them using QRILL I have zero stock in them

Qrill is orange, oily, often find bits of whole krill in it, antennae, appendages etc. Lovely pungent smell, and tastes of, surprisingly, crustaceans!
The pink stuff out there (and I've had some both from BAF and AA) is very different. It's sold as krill, and not shrimp meal. It's similar to the old pink shrimp(shell) meal but not identical. It is coarse, doesn't contain the whole krill etc etc, is dry and appears simply to be the carapace. I'm guessing it's a waste product from the production of pharma grade krill extract and oil, maybe from Aker-Biomarine? It is a very different 'meal' than the orange Qrill.

I can personally attest to the stuff they bring in as a nice premium krill new.
