Hi has anyone actually tryied or compared both the greens and the platinum there’s a big difference in price I’ve used the green 4lb 12.6ft there a fair few on the market second hand now is the platinum worth the upgrade?

You could wait and see the new rods being released,they are in-between these two.They might be worth a look if dont want spend platinum money.There is some platinums in the classifieds

I have used a few varities of both greens and platinums.

While the greens are good, when you cast a platinum the difference is quite big in my opinion

Faster, crisper, lighter, much more responsive

Really depends what you want for a rod and what you budget is as to what way to go

They seem reasonable second had now I assume because there’s so many I was looking at the 12ft 4lb or maybe an alternative
