I have Harrison Accurix's in 2.75lb which are great but don't half feel undergunned when fishing solid bags in weed.
No problem at short range, but the issue is pulling fish through the weed, it's a pain.
I am considering a second set. I once had torrix's in 3.25lb and thought these were ok but I disliked the 50mm ringing.
I am considering a 12ft 3.5lb Torrix so i can cast the bags some way further, or potentially the Aviator plus 12ft.
I don't need a range rod, just something with a backbone for weeded fish and casting heavy bags - I'm not sure whether the Aviator is appropriate here?

I see that numerous people aren't a fan of the Torrix 3.25. Is the 3.5 a better blank?
Other options are the Torrix TE in 12ft which seems to have better reviews than the 3.25, or the Aviator Flex, but I'm guessing the Flex won't offer much beyond my 2.75 Accurix?

The flex will offer a lot more than your accurix mate. They will do most things asked of them tbh

I love my torrix 3.25 tc. Will put a bag 120 yards and not broomsticks. I think they are a decent all rounder.

I've got the Torrix12ft 3.25s gathering dust in storage, a V expensive mistake for me personally.
The te 12ft .6 or the flex would be a good choice imo.

Just a dull feeling blank imo, v stiff butt, softish top section, feels unbalanced.
The torrix te are a joy in comparison.

I thought the 3.25 were horrible as well
That's comparing them to the 3.5 and the te which are both much nicer blanks imo

I’ve had the 12’6 torrix te for quite a few years and are lovely rods to use
Only thing for me is the length as quite a few of my waters have shrubbery everywhere so can be a bit tight but would thoroughly recommend

If you're getting the Torrix TEs make sure to buy the 12'6 version the 12' are pants in comparison.
Anyone used the greys air curves in 3.25 and compared them to the torrix 3.25 ?

Yes, couldnt be more different, much softer, nicer action, definitely not a casting rod, although capable of more than I can offer, or need.
Torrix will cast further, all things equal.
The 3.5 aircurve are supposed to be decent as well.

The Greys Aircurves in 3.25lb are probably the best all round round I have used. I am not a big caster at all but can comfortably hit 100 yards plus with a baited rig, I wouldn't want to try and do a big chuck with a bag or anything though as I am not sure they would cope. I have the Torrix in 3.5lb as the rod builder I got them from said that in his opinion the 3.5 is a much better blank than the 3.25, and I have no complaints ans been using them for a couple of seasons now as my main rods, but I won't sell the Aircurves as I often go back to them given how nice they are, especially if I'm not fishing at any significant distance
